Works fine, accurate.
This tuning fork is well finished and accurately tuned. I commented on another one that was supposed to be A-440 but was actually 432 Hz although stamped 440. So I think you should always check them when you get them, just to confirm the pitch. It’s really nice using a tuning fork though, in my case for a ukulele. It’s a rather basic and primitive instrument, and it just seems “wrong” (and innecessary) to use a digital tuner! Strike the tuning fork with the mallet and hold the end of it against the bridge, and it will resolute through the body, making it easy to hear and tune your A string to match; then tune the remaining strings relative to that.

I am very happy with this accurate, sustaining product
I saw some negative reviews on this 432 hz tuning fork and felt a little scared that it would be inaccurate. I tested the frequency and it is accurate. It sustains longer than 32 seconds which is standard. I don't know why this frequency is considered healing but, I might believe it causes me to feel more peaceful. Thanks.

Tune Fork
Easy to use size tune fork with reflex rod. Vibrates for about 15 seconds between hits. Frequency seems to be off, test measured at 438 Hz and not 432 Hz. Close enough to 440 Hz was my need.

You have one job to do ...
Don't buy these with the intent to get precise tones. For the money, they are OK *approximate* examples of the advertised tones, but fall short by 2 Hz. Good enough to most ears, but not technically accurate. My guitar tuner measures this fork at 430 Hz. Close, but not exact. For the price, I won't complain too much. Label accordingly, or tune correctly.
