Therefore, keep a beverage at room temperature, or refrigerated, for as long as you normally would. As a general food safety practice, after 48-72 hours the beverage should probably be discarded.

SimplyThick EasyMix is a naturally dark colored product and in the 500ml pump bottle appears a bit darker in the less opaque bottle it comes in. (This is so you can see how much thickener is in the bottle.)

When I look at the SimplyThick EasyMix thickener directly, it appears to be more of a pale yellow tone (not green at all).

Differences in screen and color settings may depict the image color differently when viewing the item on a monitor or phone.

Depending on the level of consistency the water is being thickened to and the type of water (tap, well, carbonated, flavored, etc) as well as if anything is added to the water will determine how clear the water will be after being mixed/thickened properly.

The new formula has additional ingredients and it has changed the way the product appears in a clear liquid. We've changed the formulation of gums to allow for easier mixing. We have also changed the formulation of acidifier to allow for less residual flavor.  In doing so we have found we have to give up a little on appearance when mixing with water or any clear liquid. We have found the positives to this new formulation outweigh the discoloration that may occur.
