Need a heat sink or mounting on steel cover on my 130 amp welder good enough?

For this product, I recommend an aluminum heat sink with heat sink paste, sheet metal is a poor heat sink.

Since a heat sink is to be attached on the bottom, how are you to attach a heat sink AND mount the rectifier?

In my case. I used the metal body of my welder as a mounting surface (bridge rectifier inside, heatsink outside). Also used thermal paste for a better heat transfer.

Is the current rated per one diode?

Generally in a DC circuit they are called diodes as the block and conduct in one direction. When (4) are connected in a full wave bridge in a single-phase circuit they are called a rectifier bank and in a car alternator there are (6) diodes in their full wave bridge. All the diodes in this full wave single-phase rectifier are rated for 1,600 volts and 200 amps.

Will this work in reverse dc to ac and how?

This would not work to convert dc to ac. A rectifier uses diodes to allow the ac current to only flow in one direction, which results in a, basically, pulsating dc current. What you would need is an inverter, to convert dc to ac current, rather than a rectifier
