Are you still using a router from your provider? Just please get one of these.
Tenda offers a great price for performance for that particular router. You get a nice solid bandwidth for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Much, much, much more stable software than any Broadband Provider router I've had to deal with in the past. Very easy setup and really solid build overall. For that price I was just expecting it to be better than the standard broadband provider router, however Tenda proved me wrong with an amazing experience overall and exceeded my expectations. Especially my WIFI stability is now great, before my devices like PS5 kept losing the 5Ghz signal, now it's strong and solid. Of course get a router that matches your user-case scenario, however for someone like me, where there are only 2 people using the internet in the house and for gaming this is a perfect solution.

Good router, even better customer service
Very good router for the price and 3 year warranty! Worked great for 18 months but had a few technical issues which were resolved swiftly by customer support who sent a replacement upgraded version as was still under warranty. Can't praise them highly enough. Silvia especially

10 minutes to set up
Easy to set up signal is ok not great but for the price it will do. Easy to access the setting with a clear layout if you need to change anything. Up date 07/2023 This gave up on us 04/2023 and will not power on got a replacement power supply but still no good.

easy to configure๏ผfast and stable - Impressive Router!
I bought this router as my home hub kept dropping the connection. This router has fixed the problem! It's a simple router and very easy to set-up, it has good range and the wi-fi signal reaches the full house and my back garden. The speed is outstanding. It is not slightly better, but a huge difference compared with my previous one. So if you think your devices are slow... It might be worth giving it a try. The router features a 2.4 and 5GHz guest network if you need it. I also use parental control for my kids so I can easily set a time window for access. You can also set access time for certain devices so that kids can't access the internet after a certain time. Excellent router so far. I would wholly recommend this to you.

Great fast router, lots of options, not great on Wifi Coverage
wifi signal doesn't reach where my old PlusNet router did. So not impressed by the wifi coverage at all. But will leave it as I now have a booster in the middle so it reaches and it was cheap. If paying full price, I may have sent it back.

AC19 AC2100. Perfect to get the best out of your Virgin Media HUB 3.
For all those who have that wonderful VM HUB 3 then you too are probably have great WIFI within the first two rooms of your house but after that your dropping more and more as the years go past that 1GB / 200MB signal you are paying for. I started off with 30MB fibre optic 3 years ago and had no problme with the wifif reaching the studio upstairs at the rear of the house with the router downstairs in the front room. Then the following year they upped me to 50mb and I started to drop every few days and then they upped it to 100mb and it got more frequent. This year I am on 200mb and it's not possible to even Zoom now over that range which is was before, let alone not have it drop out 5 times a day. The HUB 3 is pants. Check out the VM forums. It can't handle those speeds and cannot route them through your house partly because the antenna inside the HUB are not that powerful at all. Having read through the reviews here and YouTube about HUB 3 solutions I took the plunge. I purchased this and for once a product lives up to its promise. I took reading for a week on the speed and was getting 25mb-60mb but the hallway and the stairs woudl break that at any given time and when my wife was on Zoom downstairs for back to back meetings that was it for me, I could email and browse the internet it woudl drop a bit and there was no way I could zoom. Once I installed this router I now get 180mb all day long to the studio upstairs. It has the technology to bounce this signal around the corners and the Antenna are super powerful so it's throwing that signal around without any issues. The processor takes all 200mb and spits it out without any problem. Problem solved! Monday was a 6:30pm PCC Zoom call and I have never mananged to log on withing say 5 attempts before and this time straight in and held for all 1 hour of the call. Not one drop since. For those of you reading this and new to the game, this is not a modem. So take your HUB 3 and put that into modem mode so it switches off its internal router then set this up into the back of it and this then becomes the new router throwing your signal around the house. If you put your ISP address found under your current HUB 3 into your browser address bar it will take you to the Virgin Modem entry page. The password is under the box NOT the same password under the box you use to log onto yoru wife. Once in there go to the modem option and then sit tight for a fe seconds to a few minues whil it does its thing. Before this plug the new one into it. You will see in the instructions it claims this will allow the new router to take the ISP and stuff from the old one so it becomes an extension of it. Then go to the TendaWifi web page or use the ISP again in the browser address and that will bring you to the new Tenda Router control panel. In there you will see a diagram showing you it is connected. If not do not start clicking around on stuff like I did and then be weeping for hours lol. At any given moment if you are struggling then unplug it all from the back of the HUB 3, then press the reset button on the back of your HUB 3 and then wait for the lights to flash and then it's all back to normal as before. So don't panic. I recommend following the first page of instructions in the manual after that it will all be up and running.

Major let down
Absolutely amazing router, great signal and vastly improves the virgin media crappy hub. The signal for WiFi is amazing (three bedroomed terraced house) large family with many people online at the same time with zero interruptions, so why the low score? The app! It's a major let down and I mean major, when it works its fine actually its pretty good, you can adjust the power of the router to low, medium or max. You can "accelerate the WiFi signal but tbh honest I didn't see any difference so to me it's just a gimmick. You can do other things like blacklist certain devices and parental control but just a few days ago I thought I'd try and put it on low power mode to see if there was any difference, big mistake on my part now the app side is extremely temperamental. I've had to reset it so many times it's frustrating. The app is stuck on some sort of loop where I put all the details in and it just asks for the same info again and again. I tried it with one device then I uninstalled the app from the first device and installed the app on another device but its the same I have no option other than to return it and get a different router

Great for the price
Having had the virgin media hub 3 for a few years now like everyone else i was fed up with latency on my games and wifi drop issues. i bought this because of the bandwidth capability. so far wifi signal is far better, i have no latency problems and i can remote manage the router to add in any forwarding rules, set kids sleep rules for access etc. ive had no issues to date and i recommend it if you need a replacement to the virgin hub.

As specified. Speeds are good. Very happy so far.
The product is as described and the speeds are good. I got the AC19 2100 and it was easy to set up and the speeds are fast. It does support 1gigabit and I found no issues with this model. Obviously you will need a fast ssd nvme drive to take advantage of this as data transfer speeds are only as fast as your hard drive can read and write them. It is way faster that the 6 year old router from our ISP. ๐
