Will this punch work to punch sheets for the Day Timer Desk Size (8 1/2 x 5 1/2)?

The desk size Day Timer, the medium size Day Runner and the classic size Franklin Planner all have the same hole pattern on a 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" page. This punch is designed for that size. It also works with most 3-ring binders that are designed for 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" pages. It will not work for notebooks that have 7 evenly spaced holes.

Will it punch pages for the A5 Filofax brand planners?

It is a standard 7 hole punch and works with generic 7 hole 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 page size. I measured mine, and the distance BETWEEN the holes on this one are about 18mm, 18mm, 32mm, 18mm, 18mm. Looks like your pages are 5 1/4" X 7 1/2". Don't know if it would work or not. Will this punch holes to fit into the "Avery 5.5 x 8.5 binder"?

Works great with Avery 5.5" X 8.5" binders. It does creates 4 extra holes.
