Bamboo Girls Eye Patches, 50/bx, Butterfly Pk, Reg Size 4+ yr

These patches were recommended by my kiddo's optometrist to be worn 5-6 hours every day to correct a lazy eye. We have been using these for the last 2-3 months and my kiddo doesn't mind wearing these at all. The pack has a variety of kid-friendly designs so it's fun to wear a new design every day. The eye patches come off and on easily although they do lose some adhesion after a few hours of wearing. We initially tried to reuse more than once but the second time around, the patch just doesn't stay on for too long which is totally fine.

I wouldn’t buy any other brand. First perfect on my 5 year old. We tried another knock off brand and it was too small. This fit great.

So thankful for this company - when our ophthalmologist asked how we think patching every day (2 hours for 2-3 months) on our 4.5 yr old would go...I thought there is no way we can make this happen. Thinking she would be against it and fight it every day. But these patches are so fun, cute designs, and are easy to use. They give her power to choose the design each day and the tracking sheet makes progress exciting too. TIP: The adhesive is strong so we “get rid of the sticky” by sticking it on our clothes, remove it, repeat a few times, so it has plenty of adhesive to stay on without hurting the sensitive skin around the eye when it’s time to remove it.

Great patches for my kiddo! They stick better than any other patch we’ve tried

I am blind in my right eye due to degenerative myopia - I do have some vision left but it’s extremely warped and blurry and disorienting to try to use that eye at all. Patching is my best option as far as controlling that and, after trying all sorts of traditional patches that fit around your head with elastic and several other brands of stick on patches, I have landed on Ortopad as the best of the best. They are large enough for my adult sized head, they fit all day without dropping or falling off, and they obscure light from getting into that eye wonderfully. Plus they fit under my glasses great, which is something I can’t say for the traditional black elastic eye patch.I kinda enjoy the fun kid patterns so always get them instead of boring beige. Wouldn’t mind the option for different and maybe less cartoonish patterns though- but until that happens I’ll be wearing these! ❤️

They are very adhesive and my child only needs to wear them for 30 minutes so I actually stick it to my forearm quickly and take it off to lessen the “stick” that way after 30minutes she doesn’t have difficulty or pain taking it off. I understand they are designed to be wore all day and need this level of adhesive to accomplish all day wear. Just a tip for anyone who might not need to wear it all day.

Received but I don’t like that the box is beat up.

We have tried a few different brands and this by far is my favorite. There haven't been any issues with the material or adhesive which was a concern having a child with sensitive skin. The variety of designs makes the process of having to patch daily more enjoyable, for her. She especially likes the glow in the dark. Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

A little hard to pull off....but work well to cover eye.

I have tried a few brands but these are the best and most sticky. Tonight I realized the ghost ones glow in the dark!

The owl patch out of the batch is way more sticky than the rest of them. When I first put this one on my 5yr old it was very hard to get off and traumatized her from using them. The rest of the patches worked out very well. Way cheaper than getting them from the doctor.
