qt Modern Masters ME150 Silver Metallic Paint Collection, Satin Water-Based Decorative Metallic Paint

I originally used the matte silver to paint my outdoor furniture. Total coverage in one coat but I used 2. The color is so neutral that it goes with everything. The cleanup was easy just soap & warm water.It looked so nice that I've used it on cabinets & metal sconces. I've been walking thru my house eyeballing items to paint. I even ordered extra for my future projects. 🥰 I'm glad the container was plastic instead of a can for easy storage.

I had a great idea to change my closet door trim from brass to silver. I am old and the doors are huge and heavy. They were NOT going to be removed. Thus spray painting them was not an option. Thisnis a brush job. Trouble is I bought the wrong paint first and second. First was Ralph Lauren glaze. Pretty but too transparent to cover. Then Rustoleum Metallic Silver. Not pretty, can only coat once but too thin and splotchy. Called Rustoleum to be offered a refund which didnt save my doors. Company rep said this product can not be recoated! a paint that can not be recoated?? Crazy! He suggested I sand off and start over again. Again- Crazy!! Modern Masters saved my day and my project. This stuff is a drop dead gorgeous silver.to match my room's mirrors and lamps. Far away the best. I did samples on the former paint finishes for weeks before recoating the closet doors' entirety. No bad results, no lifting, flaking or blackening as Restoleum expert stated would happen if I double coated with their product. I ordered another brand too but it was too flat and too dark for my liking. IMO This is the cat's meow for switching brass metal trim to silver.

I am loving this paint! The coverage is fantastic and the color is the best, exactly what I was hoping for. One coat coverage is definitely enough. Two coats gives you an even richer metallic finish. I was afraid that the small container wouldn’t be enough to finish a vintage vanity I planned on painting. But to my surprise it was more than enough to do not one but two coats with half the container still left. You won’t be disappointed with this paint. I definitely recommend.

This paint works great A little definitely goes A long way. The color & size of it is great I used it to DIY A desk for my husband as A DIY projects you will see the before & after pics listed below. I got the desk off Facebook Marketplace but it came out great.

I have been dying to paint one of my ceilings silver for years. I tried it in my half bath and LOVE the concept but could not figure out how NOT to have streaks. I cut in the ceiling with a brush and then tried both a roller (2 coats) but opted for a 3rd coat with just a brush and left the brush strokes. The first picture is cutting in with a brush then rolling, the 2nd picture is going back over it with a brush. I am scared to do a wall with the brush and I will still have brush cut in areas if I use the roller.. Would LOVE to hear other ways to apply this paint b/c it's beautiful!

I painted my big brown-framed mirrors with this silver paint and they look stunning! The paint went on so smoothly and left no streaks. It dried super fast so I could get a second coat on and my mirrors were done in no time!

I am obsessed with MM Metallic paint. The silver I’ve used for a desk, as a background for mosaics, on stone around our fire pit… even the front end of our camper trailer! I admit the trailer was an experiment and I had low expectations, but it’s held up great for 2 yrs and counting. On the fire pit surround stones I used the silver, copper, and bronze paints in a variegation to give dull gray stones some shimmer. I did that 3 yrs ago. It needs small touch-ups each spring. In 2020 one of my lock-down projects was a 10x6’ mural in our foyer. I used all MM shimmer and pearl paints to do a scene with a tree and pond. I’m an amature, but the paint uplifts my effort. I love the mural and get lots of compliments on it. I’ve used other colors for other furniture projects. I really believe you can do anything with this paint!

I used this for a mural, and was highly impressed by the opacity, sheen, and ease of application. Would definitely recommend!

Igual a como la imaginaba, compre el color plateado satin finish y me gusto mucho aparte que es miy facil de usar, yo la utilizo para hacer diseños con una plantilla decorativa, la aplique con rodillo de espuma. Lo único negativo esque al parecer venía ya abierta, pero todo lo demás muy bien, empaque bien protegido y llego rápido.
