Works great! - Matches GE model JVM3160 microwave (over the range)
GE model JVM3160 microwave (over the range) - Replacement door switches match and worked perfectly! Definitely recommend (working for 4 months so far - will update if changes occur. Disclaimer! If you don't have knowledge and/or experience with electrical repairs, I don't recommend doing this yourself without thorough research and exactness in grounding procedures! There is a risk of harm due to SHOCK if you done incorrectly! This door switch worked like a charm. Our microwave blew the breaker switch about 5 times before the power to the microwave went out completely. In researching what might cause this I learned that our habit of opening the microwave door during a cooking cycle, rather than using the stop/clear button beforehand, would be a likely cause for a switch to go bad. I searched for a replacement switch by the make/model of my microwave (G.E. over the range JVM3160) and found this 2 pack of switches. Note: Most microwaves have 2 switches, NO (Normally Open) vs NC (Normally Closed). Since I didn't want to take apart the door to find out which one I needed, I bought one of each. I used one and have one on hand if the other switch fails. The price difference between buying one or more really isn't an issue. We are definitely DIY people so we made sure to turn off the power at the breaker box AND followed grounding recommendations (to avoid a serious risk of shock). Changing the switch was simple and fast and the microwave works great! Like many people, we use our microwave daily so being without it was SUPER INCONVENIENT. I had considered buying a new microwave which would have cost between $260 - $500+ but our microwave was only 3 years old. Instead, I found a **used countertop microwave for $25 on Facebook Marketplace to use in the interim. This gave me time for the replacement parts to arrive and a convenient time to replace them. The overall savings was hundreds of dollars, not to mention the hassle and time involved to remove and reinstall a new microwave. I'm using the **interim microwave in our theater room, serving a dual purpose moving forward.

It is exactly the same size and works perfectly
No drama. It simply works. Planned to replace all three, but it is a little bit hard to remove all the original ones so just replaced the obviously burnt one. It works perfectly. This is just a switch, if it clicks before installing, it should just work. Hope there will be no quality issues. Thanks

This fit a Toshiba Microwave Oven and fixed it twice
Hereโs an update October 2025, my microwave started acting up again and totally stopped altogether. Since I still had 2 of the 3 switches that I ordered back in July 2024 I decided to install them. Come to find out a different switch bit the dust. Now itโs working great again! So basically I spent about $9 a year ago and was able to bring my mwave back from the dead! Great deal! My Toshiba microwave oven started to give me issues months ago when after opening the door the turn table inside kept turning. The microwave would still work but then last week it finally stopped working altogether. After doing a little research I took the microwave apart and removed the switches and tested them with a multimeter and realized the bottom switch, picture attached, was corroded and not clicking anymore. This is a normally open switch. I replaced it and it fixed the problem. When you get the switches it doesn't say which switches are Normally Open or Normally Closed so I used my multimeter to figure it out. I didn't realize that the terminals are slightly different and that's how you tell which is which. All in all this was a simple and cheap way to fix a microwave without having to purchase a new one. Just remember to take detailed pictures of your wiring. In order to not forget where I put the other switches in case I need to use them, I taped them to the back of the microwave. I got this tip from another reviewer.

Easy inexpensive repair; unclear on durability.
(Update 28-March-2025) Direct replacement for the original factory (Starion) primary interlock switch in my GE-JES-1142 Microwave. Installed easy, inexpensive DIY repair, worked fine, kept microwave operational OK. FWIW: Original switch lasted 14.5-years. This replacement switch (N.O. DONGNAN KW3AT-16) lasted 3-years, so having to replace it again...

Great replacement parts
So far they work great! Solved trip breaker problem and can use my microwave again! I had to order a new bracket, because one of the clips broke while trying to remove the old switches, but still saved hundreds of dollars not having to purchase a new microwave.

Fixed my GE Microwave JVM3160RF4SS
My GE Microwave JVM3160RF4SS kept tripping the breaker right after I pressed start. Found out it was this door switch. Check videos online on how to replace it. Key Fob Rob has the best one. I suggest disassembling and testing all three switches before you order anything. You might need only one. Based on others comments it seems to be the middle switch (normally closed) that usually has the problem and that rang true in my case. If your microwave has no power (lights, clock, etc.) and it's not a tripped breaker check the fuse and order that while you're at it. Both are easy to fix and saved me from buying a new microwave. EDIT: Check your latch board also. After replacing the switch the breaker tripped again when I pulled open the door mid cook cycle (which I learned is hard on the microwave, press stop/cancel instead). Sure enough the switch was fused together again. Come to find out the switch going bad is just a symptom of the actual problem which in my case was the latch board having a groove worn in the spot where the latch hooks on. The safety system of the microwave relies on those switches being tripped at exactly the same time when the door is opened. If not then one of those switches sacrifices itself which causes the breaker to trip. Examine the edge of the holes where the door latch goes. They should be perfectly flat (see pic new vs old). Although it's hard on the microwave to open it mid cycle, I found that is the best way to verify everything is working as it should after you're finished with your repair.

Buen repuesto.
Buen repuesto. Fรกcil de instalar y funciona de maravilla. Nota.

replacements including part number look identical to OEM
Looks identical to original number code and manufacturer. So inexpensive I replaced the top and upper bottom switch even though only one was bad. Replaced very bottom switch, an older style with same code as original. Works fine in my convection/microwave Figidaire Pro.
