Sony WH-CH710N/B Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones (Renewed)

I bought one of these and liked them so much I bought another a couple weeks later. Both of my units looked brand new and arrived in a generic cardboard box with a 3.5mm cable and short usb-c charging cable, with nothing else.They sound good enough, have good noise cancellation, have excellent battery (the 35 hour claim by Sony seems to be accurate) and feel sturdy enough. The sound is definitely bass boosted, like most sony headphones, but still have clear mids and highs. The noise cancellation isn't crazy strong, but it is strong enough and most importantly, does not cause any cabin pressure in my ears. Sony and Bose are the only two companies that I have tried that do not have cabin pressure in their noise cancellation headphones. Or at least not enough for it to bother me. I've had a pair of Anker and Tribit headphones that had noise cancellation that made my ears feel like they needed to pop.I only have two complaints with these headphones: First, the earpads are pretty hard and my ear touches the drover even though I have small ears. I bought brainwavz hm5 pads on amazon for $20 and now they are extremely comfortable. The second complaint is the lack of a "previous track" button on these. You can easily skip to the next track, but I do not think there is a way to skip back. But other than that these are great headphones for $50. Definitely would not pay the $200 retail for these tho.

Really nice and comfortable headphones. Bought them for when I fly for work. The noise canceling is amazing and so us the sound quality. Long battery life also.

I'm a classical music fan and a self-proclaimed "golden ear" audiophile. For serious listening I have, among other things, a $400 pair of Sennheiser headphones that are tonally accurate and very comfortable. I bought these Sony cans to use around the house while doing other things and they are perfect for that. Sure, compared to the Sennheisers they are not as good, but they come close in a lot of areas. No booming, exaggerated bass (like Beats), construction is cheapo plastic, and the ear pads are not as comfortable. But they pair with my MacBook Pro and iPhone immediately, I can go in the basement or out in the yard with nary a blip in reception, I hear the battery life is amazing, and if my Sennheiser sound is a solid 5 stars out of 5, these are a solid 4. I got the "renewed" version and they seem brand new and have a 90-day warranty. For 50 bucks I call that a true bargain.

I. LOVE. THESE. HEADPHONES. They work perfectly for me and my needs, and have a really cute sleek look if you want bigger headphones that don’t look too bulky on your head. The noise canceling feature works great too, at about 1/4 the full volume I cannot hear when my family is trying to speak to me (maybe keep one ear off around family). The only issue is that if you are the type to wear them all the time, they will eventually (after about one year) break at the part where they fold. I ended up using nail glue to glue it back together, which melted the plastic and kind-of welded it. I’m sure superglue would have the same effect. They still work as headphones but they do not fold for easy transportation anymore, and I have to be very careful when lying down with them on or other similar things.

I've been weary about wireless headphones due to their higher than usual price point and their fragility; but when I came across this renewed pair, I figured it was worth a shot. I'm glad I did too. The headphones came in great condition, which is one thing I always worry about when getting a refurbished item. The sound is great and they're perfect for wearing around the house while cleaning, doing dishes, lounging, etc. This kind of quality is typical of Sony. They're comfy and connect to my phone almost instantly. I don't use them all the time, nor do I use them doing any kind of physical activity. I try to baby them as wireless headphones always seem really fragile. But for the quality you get with these, the price is just right.

Gave it three stars because the sound quality is just adequate. Compared to my wired Bose headphones these fall short in both sound quality and comfort. Bought them to use while working in the yard (mowing, plating, trimming) where the cord for my Bose headphones kept getting snagged and pulled out of my iPhone. Have to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear the music well when using pandora while the mower is running. They have to be position just right over my ears or the speaker actually rubs against my ear. Like I said, they do the job well enough and I might be expecting too much from a bluetooth connect. Just dont expect high quality sound that you get from a $300 pair of wired headphones.

The headphones work great! Primarily, purchased for the noise cancelling function. However, I couldn't beat the price. I cannot even tell they are refurbished. The only indication is the box they came in.
