Can the wired accessories to the cordless be interchangeable?

I have the corded router, the cordless router and the plunge base that came bundled with the corded model. The plunge base does in fact mount on the cordless router identically. That's all I can confirm for certain, but the two models appear to be machined the same (though the battery compartment does hang out farther from center, interphering with the full extension of the plunge base depth guide bolt, but only at the extreme of the bolt's capacity - if that is explained well)

Why two wrenches? Also why is there extra collet nut things? Thanks

You can either use the button and one wrench or two wrenches.  With two wrenches you can get a tighter nut.  This can help with certain bits to avoid chatter.  If you don't have great hand strength, two wrenches are definitely better.   The extra collet is for a different size router bit shank (3/8") which is rare, but my dovetail jig router bit is 3/8"  This means I could use this router with that jig.  Otherwise I'd have to use a 1/2" shank router with an adapter.

I see people mentioning old batteries and small batteries but no models. What exact model battery should I be buying for this?

This trim router works great with the 2 Ah battery. I wouldn't go with anything more unless you like a lot of top heavy weight. The 2 Ah battery makes it a pleasure to use and will easily last as long as it takes to charge your spare. The reason you are buying this is for light weight and convenience. Don't make it heavy and bulky with a big battery. I use the BL1820B battery with this router for edge trimming and other light duty tasks. If you need run it all day long making large cuts, buy a bigger router.
