GREAT air mover. Rain sensor works perfectly, remote is good to go. We’ve had ours since 7/2022 and use it often. Bearings (or whatever is in the motor equal to bearings) may be going out now. It gradually slows down and over about an hour or 2 of use, it eventually stops. Given the price I paid back then ($240), I’d expect 5 years of carefree use.

Nice quiet vent fan..easy installation..

Replaced the stock fan in our camper with the Hike Crew. Pleasantly surprised by the ease of install. Immediately made a difference in the air flow and temperature in our camper. Very pleased! Recommend for campers or can lifers. With air pulling in on the bed side and pushing out in the bathroom we have great air movement.

This fan works as advertised. Installation was "OK". It does fit , but lower trim is made for a smaller opening with thinner rafters than my Sabre 36BHQ. I was just barely able to grab enough wood to hold the trim screws in place. The trim also does not quite reach the fan body. The blue wire must be hooked to B+. It says Brake for whatever reason (Yeah let me run a wire down to the pin-box ;-) ). Red is B+, Black is B-. There is a lot to like about this fan, multi reversible speed, motorized cover. The remote is useful if you have tall ceilings, however it is infrared, so it must be in line of sight to the fan itself. Suggestion for improvement would be rf remote so you could be in the kitchen to turn this on. & how on earth do you stop the strobing of the LED? It seems as bright as an aircraft strobe at 3am. Really this thing is a good buy! Edit 12/11/2020. After living with this fan some things are worth mentioning. Rain sensor works fine, LED & Strobing is ANNOYING. Have both power wires wired to the wall switch, turn the switch off to kill the strobe (also won't close if up & raining). Biggest concern is the screen IS NOT easily removeable. If you don't put a cover over this thing you will be on your roof incessantly cleaning out the leaves. Still a good value.

I wanted to like this product. My wife purchased this to help with ventilation via the roof vent in the back of our 5th wheel; the remote was a good idea because the vent is up too high to reach manually. I installed it carefully and well, and it tested out fine. On our first outing a week or so later, the fan quit suddenly during use. The power was still reaching the unit, since the lid still opened and closed however. Called the company and got a new one sent out quickly, so no issues there. My main beef with the product is (other than it only working for two weeks) that it is overly complex for what it is. It's a fan - I want an on/off switch, high, medium, low, and lid open / close. That's it. Instead, it has a rain sensor, temperature sensor, a brake light sensor, etc. These are things that add complexity (and thus reduce reliability) without adding real value to the user. At least, not to this user...I don't want my ceiling fan to try to out-think me. If it rains, I'll close it; if it's hot, I'll open it; if it's open while I'm driving, then I get what I deserve. Please make a version that is simpler and thus more reliable.

Installed perfectly in airstream 25c above bed. At first I thought it didn’t work and was very upset because I had already installed it, but I reversed the wires and it took off. My wife loves it.

I installed this in my 1991 travel trailer to replace the deteriorating manual vent. Overall the construction and appearance are great. The fan on this unit will draw air in or out .When using it to draw air in, its pretty weak, hardly any air flow. As an exhaust fan, which I installed in our bathroom, its works excellent. Even on high speed ( setting #3 ) its whisper quiet. Additionally, the knob to crank it open is awkward to use a it is placed very close to the fan housing. UPDATE Sept 2021, intermittently the fan will not turn, few minutes later will stark working normally.

This is a very good unit and a great deal ! Runs fairly quiet. Love the remote and remote hanger so i don't lose it.

Came without led lights.

J'ai remplacé mon ventilateur (salle de bain) par celui ci. La hauteur de la finition intérieure n'est pas assez haut mais j'ai utilisé celui de mon ventilateur (c'était serré mais sa rentré). Très silencieux me permet de le laisser fonctionner pendant la nuit.

Good fan. Moves air in or out pretty good Although the bezel on the inside is too short. I can see the inside of the roof of my trailer... Make it longer and the installer could trim off the excess.

Ease of installation and we'll get air flow in the bedroom of our travel trailer.
