My trash compactor was new when the house was built, before I bought it. It has survived the years including a category 5 hurricane so I’m rather fond of it! It has an interchangeable front panel with the choices of harvest gold or bone. My current kitchen has stainless steel appliances, except for the stove and dishwasher (which is being replaced) and my silly trash compactor. I covered the panel of the compactor with this product and now it fits right in with my sink, refrigerator, microwave, exhaust hood, toaster oven and air fryer (and soon to be replaced dishwasher). What a great facelift for this poor albatross in my kitchen! It looks great! The product was rather tricky to apply to the flat panel. Its very sticky, that’s a good thing. It helps to spray the surface lightly with a dilute soap solution or window cleaner, leaving it slightly damp. Then a squeegee or credit card can be used to remove any bubbles under the surface. I wish I could apply this to my stove, but that’s just not practical or feasible. If I wasn’t replacing my dishwasher, I would have applied it to that surface was well.

This item is really good. I have used this in my temple shelves and it’s been a year and it really hold well .

Got this to put on our old yucky white dishwasher. Easy to put on. I’m wondering how well it’s going to stick because the sides and corners are coming up…Doesnt seem as sticky as other contact papers. I just did it 10 min ago so we will see how long it lasts. Cheap aesthetic upgrade for sure.

Used for my old beige & brown fridge. It worked well! Highly recommend this brand! Not all the brands are the same. I mistakenly bought another brand to try them all, but one other one was difficult to work with and get the bubbles out and creased too easily. Another brand was too thin. This Yancorp one was easy to work with, has great grip, does not crease or bubble too easily and you can unstick it to reposition it. The material is thick and feels durable. The material is not magnetic, but magnets still stick on my fridge just like before. Tip: when rounding the edges on the fridge door, unscrew the rubber and tuck the metallic underneath it so those little edges can hold in place and give the fridge a more professional look. My fridge looks brand new!!!

Bought this to try on my black frig. As a DIYer I decided to try this instead of buying a new ss frig. After removing the handles and cleaning, I attempted to apply it following all recommendations. Nightmare! After a few hours of repositioning and rubbing out bubbles, I removed it and decided to try it on a smaller appliance...my dishwasher. I started with a new piece and measurement thinking smaller would a lot easier. Wrong...another nightmare. Removed it and will live with the black appliances until they die. PROs: Excellent adhesion, removable without damaging the appliances, brushed stainless appearance CONs: Very difficult application, final appearance

Having experience with cold lamination on stickers helped me alot. Could be a nightmare for some other people. My first try is not so smooth (over confident), but I was able to unstick it and go with the shorter width first. My 12" plastic drywall taping knife is a big help (The one I use for sticker lamination) in addition to my plastic tint squeegee scraper. The material thickness is not thick but good enough for me (for the price..lol).I removed the glass cover to make easily work on it. No matter how you clean the surface even scrapped with glass blade scraper, still got some tiny bumps. I cannot review the longevity since I just received it. Now, I can do the refrigerator next. UPDATE: The oven was used 4 separated times now and an hour was the longest and the sticker is still holding with no sign of burning. Thanksgiving turkey is the ultimate heat test next week. I used scripto knife, big metal washer, and stainless ruler to cut the oven opening window. After covering it, since it is embossed and you can see the opening for easy tracing. UPDATE AFTER THANKSGIVING: We had a small turkey this time but still required 1.5 hours of baking. There's no visible burning or melting at all. 5 Stars!!!

I love this contact paper. I recently got a stainless steel refrigerator and stove. My deep freezer was white and it worked fine but I didn’t want to spend money on a new one just because I wanted it to match. So I applied this contact paper to it and it looks great! So you only need to think outside the box.

It wrinkles and creases easily as you unroll it, scratches easily, and the adhesive is awful. My kids have stickers with better adhesive. I have plenty of experience dealing with contact paper and stick peel but this was by far the worst one and hardest to work with. I believe that if the paper were more textured it would make for less issues with creasing and wrinkling. I purchased this to cover the hood vent over my stove and it doesn't look so great because the paper is wrinkled and bubbled in several places. I have a lot paper left on the roll, so I may attempt to pull it off and start over, but I'm reluctant to do so becauae of how much time it took me to get it done in the first place. I purchased this paper because I wasn't able to find the brand I purchased in store for the hood vent in my previous apartment. I'm reluctant to even try again, so I can't say that I'd recommend it. The only positive about this product is that is looks good and could definitely pass for stainless steel if weren't for the creasing, wrinkling, bubbling and lift in corners. I was hoping this would work out and was Planning to purchase additional rolls to do my refrigerator.
