Sudosalve™ Nappy Rash Cream for Inflamed and Broken Skin, 25g (Pack of 1)

This is good because it actually heals as well as being a barrier cream. Not as great as the ‘yellow one’ but it’s the closest we’ve got, have bought another tube after finishing the first one.

I'm physically disabled and in a wheelchair. I broke my neck which left me with a medical condition that quite often makes me sweat just above the point where I have my spinal cord injury. The sweat pours down my back and chest and often ends under my breasts, leaving them red sand sore. Lately, the skin had broken, and I tried several creams prescribed from my doctor, but none helped for long. I don't like the sudocrem in the tub as it's too thick and is hard to wash it off, which can make the skin even sorer. When I came across this sudocrem, which is for babies, inflamed, and broken skin, I decided to try it. It's a lovely thin crean which makes it easy to leave a thin layer on the skin. It was applied under my breasts in the morning and gently washed off for several days. Although it did heal my broken skin, I still have a red rash. If I wasn't sweating for several hours a day, I believe this cream would have healed the skin, but as I still am, it isn't getting a chance to heal. My sister had been using the tubs of sudocrem on her 5 month old baby girl, but she also found it too thick, and it wasn't clearing her nappy rash. She's been using this sudocrem on her baby for several weeks, and it's completely cleared up the rash and kept it away. In my opinion, this Sudocrem is much better than the thick sudocrem in the tub for babies. It hasn't completely cured my rash, but I'll give it 5 stars for healing nappy rash.

It was effective on my newborns skin when nappy rash left it red and other barrier creams were not working to clear it up. Only applied a few times and all healed up nicely.

I bought this for my daughter to try on my 3 week old grandson. He, unfortunately got oral thrush and got quite a nasty little sore bottom. I have given this a 4 star rating because the immediate go to nappy ointment is, without a shadow of a doubt, Metanium. Sudosalve is great as a barrier cream when nappy rash has been cleared up however. It is quite thin, but adheres to the skin really well, and keeps everything nice and protected. So, if you are looking for a good barrier cream, this is definitely the one. It beats Sudocream hands down, however, if you baby has a sore bottom, Metanium is the one to use to heal and protect. Good product though.

The only baby cream that worked for my baby, I even tried over the counter and nothing worked!

The only stuff that will work on my son's bottom after he had bowel surgery and has frequent nappy changes so gets sore very easily! We used to use Metanium but this stuff beats that by far!

Seldom write reviews, but had to for this wonder product. We were getting exasperated trying to sort horrendous nappy rash with open wounds in our newborn daughter who has CMPA and had diarrhoea, this fixed it in absolutely no time. After struggling with other creams, this acted immediately, if I could give it 6 stars I would!

I've been suffering from dry and cracked skin on my elbows. I've tried many creams but this is the best - by far! It has done more in 2 days than others have in 2 weeks. I cannot recommend a better cream or this one high enough.
