Fun and functional
Mahogany brown dries with dark brown, of course, to color the hair and the grey is colored by mostly the reddish/deep burgundy leaving cool looking hair. Slow fade over maybe 6 weeks depending on # of washings. I like it and recommend it.

Great hair color that faded in 3 weeks.
I bought this because I started having problems the chemicals in my hair coloring. I am sure that's why others do to. I like the colors they offer I got mahogany. The application process was different than what was used too. You will need a plastic covering for your hair I used a plastic bag the first time which worked ok. You will also need a blow dryer to heat activate the color. The dye chemical hasn't given me any problems yet. The color started to fade after the first week on the grey areas of my hair. It went from brown to pink and then back to grey in 3 weeks. I am not sure if this is normal for semi perm. dye. I kind of enjoy having pink hair for two weeks and not having a reaction was nice as well.

Not for grays
I can’t give this product zero stars bc I used it to cover gray hair and I don’t precisely remember it saying anything about it advertising “great for grays” or “good for gray” or even “Will slightly change the gray to less gray hair”It doesn’t cover gray hair. Keep looking sisters

Worst hair color product I've ever used.
I wanted a semi-permanent product that would eventually rinse out. This does NOT rinse out. I just colored my hair and the water never ran completely clear. For years, I would bleach my hair. Even after bleach, I've never had a product make my hair feel this horrible. This also doesn't cover gray. At all. The girls on Reddit seem to love this stuff, I have no idea why. The other bottle is going in the trash.
