This one's a win on several fronts: - It's currently about half the price of similar name brand sustain pedals yet has the same basic design. - The pedal spring has a good amount of resistance - it's not wimpy, so it gives a bit of tactile feedback. Nice travel, too. - The connecting cord is a reasonable length, should work in most situations - The plug is right angled, unlike a lot of other pedals. This may or may not be a benefit depending on your setup. - Probably most importantly, this pedal has a polarity switch - it can easily work with a variety of different brands of keyboards, so you don't have to mess with menu diving on your keyboard and hoping they provided a polarity flipping option (not everyone does). I'll upgrade my review if needed. So far, this is seems like a quality pedal for a reasonable price. :)

Nice bump switch. I use it to speed up or slow down my Leslie. Has a polarity switch so it can be used as a sustain pedal for Yamaha keyboards, as well as any other sustain function for other keyboards. Heavy duty metal, not cheap plastic. Good price.

Great quality and works well with Alesis SR-18 drum machine to trigger Start/Stop and Fill Patterns. Feels sturdy since it's not made from plastic. Highly recommend.

Polarity switch is a difference maker. Some reviews mentioned a clicking sound. Mine is silent. The pedal is solid, durable, stays in place, and I can’t be happier. I’ll update this down the road if anything changes.

I bought this product because (1) it was inexpensive, and (2) it had no shipping costs to my location. When it arrived, it looked and felt very poorly made. Even when brand new, it had a annoying squeak. After some light use, it wouldn't work properly, and it finally came apart sometime later. As it happened to other reviewers on Amazon, the fragile, tiny wire of the internal switch broke off. I ended up having to buy a Korg PS-1 (I own another Korg MIDI pedal that came with a keyboard I bought 20+ years ago, and it is still functioning perfectly). Frankly, I suggest you stick to established manufacturers who have a brand name to protect. Don't lose your money on this one, as you will probably have to buy a proper MIDI pedal in the short run. And if you do lose your money buying this worthless junk, don't say I didn't warn you. It's pure garbage.

I like this pedal. It is sturdy, silent, feels nice to step on, and does not move at all on my polished wood floor.

Its a solid sustain pedal. About the size of a guitar pedal. Stays in place well, and ive got a heavy foot and usually have to slide my other sustain pedals around as they tend to migrate while playing.
