Sharp (very) out of the box and maintains sharpness. Have used these daily without need to sharpen and largest one still cuts through swede, carrots etc with ease. The serrated blade slices through the softest fruits like overripe tomatoes without squishing. Paring knife excellent for more intricate jobs like cutting and de-seeding grapes, peeling, de-stringing runner beans. All are comfortable to hold with little risk of slipping. A joy to use.

These knives are really good and sharp to use. I especially like that they've got blade covers which keeps it really safe to keep in a drawer, knowing you won't hurt yourself when rummaging around for something. They are a good size and have a comfortable, good grip when using. Really pleased with these and very good value for money.

Fantastic knives with guards. Really happy with purchase 3 really good knives which work well with all vegetables. The serrated knife is fantastic for cutting tomatoes. The chef knife great for potatoes and the small red knife is great for beans, sprouts, carrots or parsnips Very sharp and non slip handles. I bought the 3 pack as it was considerably cheaper than buying 3 single knife, although only initially wanting a small knife for veg. But glad I bought the set as all are now used everyday

I've bought Zyliss knife sets before, and been happy with the comfortable handles, and quality of the blades. Do watch your fingers, as they really are as sharp, as you'd hope for. I'd recommend storing them in the sheaths provided, to protect the edges on the blades, and fingers when getting them out of drawers. Good value.
