Lg Ultrafine 5k working perfect over thunderbolt.

I have bought the card because i have a lg 5k ultrafine monitor and its just plug and play...well done gygabyte.

It works, but needs serieus setup

It needs a dubbele hidden bios option to be turnt on or windows (10) wil not recognize it. “GPIO3 force pwr” or similar. (Gigabyte bios) On the gigabyte website there is a sum what hidden firmware update. Bud necessary. Needs driver software tot connect external devices. En to authorize them. Your motherboard needs only 1 of 2 possible connections plug for Thunderbolt and 1 usb 2.0 header. This is not mentioned in the documentation. It is not the best manual ever, covering only the physical installation of the card. No Thunderbolt cable included. Dus have the usb internal header cable and internal Thunderbolt candle to go to the motherboard (THB_c header). And 2 mini display cables to display. The card is version 2.0
