Super Mario 3D All-Stars (Nintendo Switch)

EssentialAs with Amazon arrived in great time new and unopened.I would have liked a little extra with the package for pre-order like a figure or some collectible as I do feel Nintendo have just put 3 games together and released withoutany fanfare.These are not remasters - perfect as they are so didn’t need one - soIf your expecting Mario 64 in Odyseey graphics then this is not for you but saying that they have been improved slightly - Galaxy though is full HD.With the Nintendo switch it’s such a great console as you can play on the big screen and handheld so this game was a no brainer.I’m a massive Super Mario Fan - had Super Mario World on SNES for Christmas as a child. But I never purchased an N64, GameCube but I did have a Wii - but only played Super Mario Galaxy 2! So this collection to me was essential to play all 3 Mario games - retro games without an emulator in a nice package on my switch - sold!Super Mario 64Firstly for this one the screen does have black lines to cut down to the desired ratio. It plays wonderfully on the switch but is definitely dated - which of course it will be. I still wanted to play it so I would think for people who love N64 Mario absolute nostalgia for them with this one - plus you can play handheld which is always the plus with the switch. I do feel the younger generation won’t appreciate this Mario game and it’s prob a miss from them - although graphically looks like Minecraft lol.Mario SunshineWhat a fun Mario game looks great and plays wonderfully again I missed this first time round so get the chance to play on my switch. Graphics wise it looks fine - nothing astonishing but looks decent. Only done a little bit but I’m excited to play a full Mario title onmy switch that I’ve never played before.Super Mario GalaxyWell really this is why I purchased the package because I Loved SMG2 on wii, never got to play this one and now it’s on my switch - on TV mode it looks fantastic! And the wii controls within the switch joy-cons work superbly. On Handheld what’s not like it’s a HD Mario game on handheld it looks and play fantastic - touch screen can be used in handheld mode too, again it looks immense.A must must for Mario fans that have not experienced these games if you have played all 3 already you’d prob wait for a used copy elsewhere. Other than the games you get soundtracks but that’s a bit meh.I just hope we get SMG2 now on Switch because the port of the SMG1 is wonderful!

This Mario 3D all stars game is absolutely awesome I never got to play these games in the original form so for me getting a chance to play these Mario gaming legends all on one game cartridge on my favourite console (the switch) is absolutely gaming perfection I’ve played older Marios on game boy and nes but I’m missed out on these and I’m so glad I got the chance to play them as I’m a massive Mario fan and I must say I’m enjoying this set of games a lot I watched the Nintendo direct regarding its release and pre ordered mine asap and it was like being 5 years old again waiting for Christmas Day to arrive when I had to count down the 10 days wait I had for the release date and when it came it was a extremely exciting day the game is definitely worth the £49.99 price tag and you can play this on switch and switch lite without any issues its got that classic feel to the games with great graphics and gameplay too the controls work well with switch I haven’t had any difficulty getting used to them at all this is 30 plus hour at least of pure amazing Mario gaming and it would make a perfect gift to any gamer out there also its a limit run digitally from Nintendo and physically after 6 months (march 2021) it gone for good so it got great collectors value too I pre order mine from Amazon and the delivered it to me on release day and my overall pre order experience with Amazon was absolutely faultless so a great pre order service too I highly recommend this game ALOT!!!!!!!

Three fantastic games. Mario Galaxy, probably my favourite Mario and Sunshine the first 3D Mario that I owned.A great bundle.

Super Mario 3D All Stars is a fantastic compilation of Mario's first 3 mainline adventures. From Super Mario 64 for the 1996 Nintendo 64 console to Super Mario Galaxy on the 2006 Wii console. If you'd like to play these classics in all their glory on "official" hardware, go for this collection.Pros:-It's Mario!-There are 3 games, which total to just over 95 HOURS of content, if you intend to complete each title to completion (i.e all the stars, extra levels etc.)-These are graphically enchanced and have new controls that use joy-cons to their fullest.-The latest and official way to play these titlesCons:-It's expensive at 44.99 (but you ARE paying for the Mario and Nintendo brand)-It's limited until March 2021, so if you want the title, you need to get it quickly, or pay the same price for the digital copy on the eShop.-The titles are emulated, meaning they're not newly created ports, they're run from an emulator within the cartridge, so if you're someone who has a computer and likes emulation, may as well just use an emulator to play these titles, which can sometimes be better, depending on what sort of experience you want-The controls can be awkward, and the controls and camera for Super Mario 64 are VERY outdated, which may frustrate newer and younger players.In short, it's an amazing collection which you can take on the go, and has so much content that I think is definitely worth the price, but you need to grab it quickly if you want to play it, as this is a limited release which ends in March 2021.
