Nice unit!
Was a little skeptical but I went ahead with the purchase. I was very pleasantly surprised! This is a really nice unit that is very well made. It works exactly as advertised. Would definitely purchase again.

Perfect on a budget
I've enjoyed adding this little gem to my setup. If it were to cost $100, I would give it four stars for the lack of quality, but for its price it exceeds my expectations. It feels well built physically, it's quite responsive to very minor differences in pitch--it's all around a decent piece of equipment. Only two criticism, which for $23 I can look past: first, it's a little slow to pick up the first note after being switched on, even if it was on only a minute prior, so it takes a few plucks of the string for it to register. Second, it was a fairly convoluted process to put the battery in, as the user has to push two pins in on opposite sides of the pedal and use a third hand to pull up on the moving part. Replacing a battery on Boss gear is much simpler. Then again, I'm glad I bought this and not a Boss pedal, as I'd rather spend my money on effects pedals or other equipment. Also, some reviews I saw before purchasing the product mentioned an overwhelmingly bright blue light to indicate that the device was active; however, the pedal I received has a significantly more subtle orange LED light, which is perfect (though I'm not sure if that's only because I have a battery in it, but I imagine it's the same light even if 9V DC is plugged in). If you're even thinking about getting this product... just get it. It's worth it.

Pretty Great!
I play rock and worship music. PROS: I needed a tuner for church just in case feedback came out of nowhere(I didnt have a volume pedal back then). It does the job! After I've lost several Snark neck tuners(happens to everyone lol), I started using it to tune as well. Works great on guitar and bass. it IS plastic, yeah, but it's still pretty rugged. The bypass is fantastic as well; crystal clean signal. CONS: If you do not unplug the cable from the tuner, it drains power. This ruins battery life(for the strange guitarists who still power their pedals with batteries lol) and drains power from your outlet. Really isnt THAT much energy, but having a consistent stream of electricity always running through your pedalboard when not using it is unsettling. I have a board with nine pedals and I have to unplug it from the wall every practice session because of this ONE pedal. TIP: DO NOT USE THE BATTERY. lol just buy a cheapo power supply. You dont want it to run out. OVERALL: It has served me well and continues to do so. Don't worry about durability unless you walk around throwing your guitar pedals at the wall or something. make sure to unplug the cable from it when you're done.

Great pedal. It's been through a lot and still kicking!
Purchased this pedal a while back. Used it at many, many shows and it's been through a lot. A lot of stomps, and maybe a tiny bit of abuse (I'm in a band in which we used to be punk rock and very careless , but recently changed our genre a little to a more alternative power pop style, to endure the advancements we've made in our musical and songwriting abilities) And this is my most used pedal, minus my Big Muff. When I stomp on this pedal, I get the same response as my hardwire metal distortion. So, it's a very responsive and good stomp and it doesn't feel like it's going to break or nothing when you stomp it, as you may think a pedal this price would be. May I also add that it doesn't look as light as it does. In fact, it's pretty much the same weight as my hardwire. So, nevertheless, there is damage I've done to this pedal. Coming home from a show, and unloading my gear back into my studio, I noticed a crack in the plastic right where it says 'pitch'. The pedal still works tremendously, yet there is a crack (shown in pictures) so durability may fail you if you are carelessly stomping on it like a banshee. Like I was last year. That is literally the only problem I've had with this pedal. It tunes remarkably well, yet it is easy to break if you're gonna be stomping hard and carelessly. I will continue to use this pedal religiously. And, if it breaks I will buy again. For the price, this pedal is a deal breaker. Cheap price, but not a cheaply performing, or crafted product. I give this pedal a five star rating, even though it's durrabilty has failed me due to the fact, as said earlier in the review, it has been through a lot.

You get what you pay for but it can do the job - sorta.
Took a risk on this pedal since it is cheaper than all the others and is full sized. - Tuner is approximate, not sure if I’m really in tune when it says I am - Lower quality materials; a rubber foam stick is what actually triggers the foot pedal when you press... I can see this breaking soon. - No power adapter included, but the thing will kill a 9V battery if you do not unplug the instrument cables from the pedal when your done. Overall Behringer is not known for quality, but for offering typically expensive items for reasonable prices because the quality is not that great. Figured a tuner would be easy enough to create and if it was good I’d consider more pedals. I am considering other brands now because this pedal is disappointing in its performance. Glad I didn’t go all in with this brand

Worked at two practices, but when we played a show and I needed it, it didn't even turn on
What a nightmare. I had just re-strung two guitars the day of my first gig with a new group I joined. Right after putting the strings on, I did a quick guitar tune using the tuner in garageband, just because I happened to be sitting at my computer when I was putting the strings on, otherwise I may have used this pedal tuner and realized it was not working. By the time I took the stage that night, the strings had obviously loosened up quite a bit, so I plugged this pedal tuner in and - nothing. No lights, nothing. There I am looking like a goof with my out of tune guitar at my first gig with this group. Let me tell you, it did not make me look very professional, which is exactly how I wanted to appear that night. I mean, I bought new strings for both guitars, bought a brand new stage pedal tuner, bought all new cables, all because I wanted to impress these guys and not have any amateurish technical difficulties. These guys delivered too! They packed in about 300 people into a tiny night club, and there I am standing in the lights trying to tune by ear… Total Nightmare! If you play stages, stay away from this tuner! It may be fine for it to break on you if you aren't under pressure to perform, but if you are going to play in public in front of people, do not trust it! I thought I was being so smart by saving myself money and buying this cheapy instead of the real deal, but I guess I'm just gonna have to cough up the extra money and buy a PRO tuner. I had this thing for less than 3 weeks. I had read some other reviews before I bought it that said that as long as you don't jump on it, it works great. I was NOT jumping on it, as a matter of fact I WAS VERY GENTLE WITH IT because I had read those reviews before I decided to buy it. Amazon's return policy offers to replace defective items with the exact same model - no thanks. Not gonna fool me twice.

Pretty fast and definitely affordable
I don't see the value in spending $80-120 for a tuner pedal. This is just for home practice, and while when it first turns on it takes about 3-5 seconds to be ready, after that point it's plenty responsive for me. *It uses up battery even when off unless you unplug the amp cable, and so by morning time if you leave your cable in, those batteries are dead. I would suggest ordering a power cable for it.

They Nailed It, as good as my Boss
So it's a Behringer? Hmmm..... Let me just account, I'm a working musician and progressives/Rock/Blues guitarist. I Engineers and build stuff for a living, ok? I own a pile of pedals guitars and amps, Boss, fender Tube amps, Epi, Gib, fender guitars... And a lot of Berhenger gear... A few of their pedals I own, work great for 10 years now and sound 7/10 (fuzz, autowah, chorus) but this one doesn't make sound. It's job is to be tough, not toutch the sound and tune instruments accurately. It does that 10/10 and the songs I've played on that I hear on the radio, I can't tell its a Berhenger pedal all my guitar was ran through. To me, it sounds good enough to put on the radio... This has never let me down, none of their pedals have, and if you are buying Fultone and Boss for tone, fine: if you're ashamed of a Berhenger pedal in your board because of how it look? You're stuck up and wasting money. This thing is bullet proof and does whatever I could ask of it. 10/10. Ps, it lived outside in a -10*f/110*f 99% humidity Illinois garage for 5/10 years I've had it.

Excellent tuner for price
Used on 2 tours. Had no issues and kept me in tune.

Worked for a while, then stopped
It worked for a while but was having trouble picking up the lowest strings on my bass, meaning I could not really tune the E-string to D or C#. Now it has completely stopped working and I can't figure out why. Behringer's customer support website is a joke, it is even more broken than this product.

Wonderful still after two decades
Behringer are fantastic pedals. I grew up with these from being like 14 years old. While I no longer use this, I use the polytune3 for various reasons. But it's an excellent, cheap and accurate tuner!!! No. It won't break because it's plastic. Unless you launch it at a wall..... It's just 100% a good pedal and worth it. I use my polytune now because it has a few settings I like having as options and also as I now play pro in front of big audiences with lots of fancy kit, I want confidence in my tone and noise, not saying these pedals affect tone or noise... But obviously the more you pay the better quality you're getting for your signal....and so I upgraded. 100% buy it, try it, you don't like it, return it for free... But I used it here live and you tell me how the tone sounds?
