kind potential shoppers, i have needed to look for a new macademia nut oil as my source for the olivado brand that i have sooo loved for years, no longer carries it and amazon’s price is nearly the double of what i used to pay and i use a table spoon at least every day...so i found this lovely oil and spoke personally by phone to the lovely owner of this company who has also graciously and carefully answered each of my emailed questions and uses this fabulous oil in her family daily and even with her very young children..it has the most lovely delicate flavor and although it might seem pricey, it is 16plus ounces rather than the 8plus of my former olivado and even at my wonderful supermarket price of the olivado, this Species brand is only 4 dollars more than two of the olivado 8plus ounce bottles would have been..I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS TASTE TREAT and trust that you too will find this conscientious company a delight to work with should you ever need or want to contact them...truly this is a JOY-FIND of the decade for me..

I have been using macadamia nut oil for about 5 years as a supplement for health purposes. Was using another brand until it became unavailable about 2 years ago. I began searching and found Species Nutrition products and found 16 oz size in lieu of the 8 oz size. I purchased a bottle and received in shipping 2 days later. The glass bottle was packaged very well in bubble wrapped. After consuming 1 tablespoon I was astonished at the fresh and nutty flavor I experienced. Could not believe the difference in flavor and freshness from the previous brand that I had been consuming. By comparison the previous product was actually rancid and did have a good flavor, which I did not realize at the time. Currently I purchase 2 bottles at a time and use it for cooking, salads, and mixing in protein shakes. Certainly an outstanding product and undoubtedly the best on the market.

This is healthier than most cooking oil and doesn't overpower my morning eggs.

I used to put coconut oil in my coffee and enjoyed it, but it sure doesn't do your kitchen disposal any good after a while. Plus, coconut oil seems to now have mixed reviews for consumption beyond just a light spray... I love macadamia nuts, so took a chance with a teaspoon per cup of coffee. It is absolutely delightful. Walnut oil is also quite good, but macadamia nut oil is my #1 choice. This is top shelf.

This oil gives a very lightweight moisture for food, not greezy at all. I also noticed a slightly sweet favor but it's very natural, not sugar or any sweetener. Amazing oil, highly recommended.

The bottle arrived in good shape. I bought it for my healthy oil cooking collection. Taste is very mild. I use it for things I won’t be cooking. The main goal was better health and that may take a time to tell . Thank you. Right now I hope to reorder later.

It’s totally worth it not cheap but totally worth it wow . I am a foodie and a personal chef and a hobby Baker this is so good I don’t even use it in any of those, I rub it on my skin and smell it, nourishing. real nut the essence, it’s real stuff. Can’t fake it. PLUS it’s in glass, a huge plus if you care about reducing exposure to endocrine disrupting plastic whale and plastic bottles would cause a leaching in your oil you don’t want any part of the most difficult toxins to remove from your body are the ones that are embedded in oil, do your best to avoid they poured toxins in your food and in your skin products, it messes your whole hormonal system up. I read that Macadamia nut oil is the more favorable oil to use if one must use oil for cooking. I tried it and I am quite satisfied with the results. No foul odor, no strange affects on the food that I am cooking. It is a bit pricey which is probably because Macadamia nuts are not a huge abundant crop like other plants. I recommend this product.
