LAMP USES USB CABLE POWER SOURCE AND COMES WITH A REMOTE WHICH DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. REMOTE REQUIRES 2 AAA BATTERIES. I LOVE MY JELLYFISH. THEY ARE REALISTIC AND MESMERIZING TO WATCH. ONE IS YELLOW THR OTHER IS PINK. I HAVE BAD ANXIETY AND THIS IS SO SOOTHING TO WATCH. IT LOOKS LIKE 2 JELLYFISH ARE PLAYING. YELLOW ONES NAME IS GLUBBER AND HIS WOMANS NAME IS ROSIE. THEY PLAY TOGETHER ALL DAY NIGHT. IT DOES HAVE AN AUTO SHUT OFF BUT NOT SURE HOW LONG. I KNOW I WENT TO SLEEP WITH IT ON AND WOKE UP WITH IT OFF. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU TURN LAMP OFF FOR AWHILE AND TURN IT ON,GIVE JELLY A MINUTE TO WINKLE ITSELF FULLY AWAKE. REMOTE IS A NICE FEATURE HAS 12 COLOR SPECTRUM LIGHTS AND HAS 4 FUNCTIONS AND A BRIGHT/DIMMER BUTTON. THIS PRODUCT IS A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE BUT WELL WORTH THE MONEY. The Jellyfish Lamp is larger than I Expected . I viewed the Video about it which was Very helpful . This is easy to set up and fascinating to look at . The color combinations are amazing and I could look at it for hours . Everyone who sees it thinks the jellyfish are alive . This would be an Awesome gift for a child's bedroom or perhaps for someone elderly that loves changing colors and constant motion . It's a lot of fun to watch and a real conversation starter . I'm 82 years old , but a child at heart . This is one of the most fun gifts that I have ever given to myself . . . I just plain Love everything about this colorful fun jellyfish lamp !!! P.S. Finally a pet that I don't have to feed and worry over !

We had to request a replacement because the motor to make them move did not work. The Brewish team gave us advisements and helped us get the replacement. This was a gift to my Mom and she absolutely loves them being in her room. She made me laugh saying they (jellyfish) come together like they are truing to mate - lol! It's a wonderful treat for such a low price. Would recommend for children and adults you know would enjoy having jellyfish without the work of keeping real ones. Thanks Brewish Team for such a great item!

Giving this 1 star because I have to, would give zero if able.Bought this as a birthday gift and was excited to get it, it looks really cool. Delivery was fast, and the set-up was easy, but that's where the good times end. Within 3 minutes the jellyfish were stuck to the intake for the water pump. Ok, we used a chopstick and got them unstuck. 2 minutes later they are stuck again. Then again, and again, and again. Longest this went before getting stuck was maybe 10 minutes and that being generous. So we turned it off, or tried to anyways. When you use the power button the lights turn off but the pump keeps going. OK, it's should turn off automatically after 4 hours... nope. Only way to actually turn it off is to unplug it.Contact the seller/manufacturer to see if there any tips to keep the jellyfish from getting stuck. They reply with instructions to trim the tentacles. We try that, nothing improved, only difference was that instead of the tentacles getting stuck it was now the bodies of the jellyfish covering the intake. Also, the seller/manufacturer seemed to believe that these are real live jellyfish. LolFrom the seller/manufacturer..."We understand how concerning it can be when things don't go as expected, please understand that’s a normal scenario instead of defect of product , we are here to help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your jellyfish.1. Carefully cut off approximately a quarter (1-2 inches) of the longest tentacle. This should prevent the tentacles from getting stuck again.2. It is crucial to perform this step with precision and care to avoid any unnecessary stress to the jellyfish.We recommend monitoring the jellyfish after performing these steps to ensure it is behaving normally and not showing signs of stress or discomfort."So not only do they think these are real live jellyfish, they also admit that is normal for the jellyfish to get stuck constantly, but it's "not a defect of product."When the product does not actually work as described, weather by flaw in design or faulty parts, that is by definition a defective product.Needless to say, don't bother with this product. You will find no "joy or relaxation" as advertised, when you're constantly trying to get it work correctly. And we tried off and on for days.

I bought this product for classroom. The lights and the jelly fish looked so realistic that every single person that walked into my classroom would do a double take and would ask me if the jelly fish were real, lol....I got so many compliments on my aquarium especially by my students. I teach high school special education life skills in which many of my students are autistic. The led lights and the movements that jelly fish created were tranquil and soothing for many of them. I am saddened though that after having it for less than 6 months, my aquarium stopped working. The led lights still work but the motor that moves about the jelly fish stopped working. Now my jelly fish simply sit at the bottom of the tank. Is there anything you can do to help me with this issue? Would it be possible to exchange it for working one?

We bought this for our 9 year old for Christmas. It is adorable in her room and so fun to watch! It takes less than 10 minutes to put together if you have all of the items available. You'll need a 2 gallon jug of distilled water and clear dish soap. Simply follow the directions and you're done. We did use 2-3 drops of the popular blue dish soap, but it made the water cloudy. We started over with clear dish soap and it was perfect. The remote is fun to use if it's across the room and adds that additional "cool" factor for kids. We would definitely buy this again. If you have curious kids who may try to take the jellyfish out to "play" with them, the opening in the top is pretty small and would be hard for them to get the jellyfish out. Will update in a few months about how well it holds up.

I got this for my autistic grandson and he absolutely loves it. It's very calming for him and it's really neat to watch. Beautiful colors. Easy to put together.

The jellyfish 🪼 move like they are real, the colour selections are beautiful in person (and they don't flicker like in the video), and the best part is it is ABSOLUTELY SILENT! I was so afraid it would have an annoying hum or swooshing sound, but the only time it made noise was when I first set it up and the air was escaping. The sound in the video is traffic noise from outside. If you are sensitive to light,Ike I am, I find this to be just fine and there is a dimmer on the remote as well. The colours aren't painful to look at (LED lighting is my nemesis, IYKYK). I bought this one for my office at work, but I love it so much I'll be buying one for here at home too. I'm going to order some silicone coral for the base of it too!TIPS: Be sure to add the few drops of dish soap to break the surface tension and fill the water all the way up to the plug, otherwise the jellies will just hangout at the top. I used tap water for today, but I will be refilling with distilled water tomorrow. Distilled is highly recommended so you don't get water rings on the glass (not real glass) 🪸🪼🧜‍♀️

This is a beautiful lamp. The jellyfish glow and you can change the color. They move very much like real jellyfish in the lamp. One thing I would like to mention is that it would look better with 3 jellyfish rather than 2. I purchased the additional jellyfish and it looks better. Now I have 3. But the extra jellyfish should be included with the lamp. Off numbers look better, before it looked a bit sparse.The lamp is bright enough at night to give a glow and quiet when it's on. It is important to remove all the air bubbles from the jellyfish (especially under the umbrella) and may take up to a week to get them all...but then the jellyfish float up and down, not just up.I am actually really surprised at how nice it looks in the evening and how well it works. I purchased another smaller one for another room for my house.

I love this product, it is a large size and the jellyfish are two different colors (green and pink) so you can differentiate your pals. The jellyfish strands are much longer than other brands which allows the jellyfish to move and dance with one another in intricate ways. The only bad thing I've noticed is sometimes they turn sideways and it takes them a while to sort themselves out, but I really do not care about that. It's beautiful with lots of different colors of lights to choose from, it is also very quiet and I find the sound of the motor to be pleasant white noise.Overall, the size of the tank, quality of the jellyfish and the different lighting and dimming options make this worth the price. I turn it on for going to bed and I love watching them dance. It is on a 4 hour timer so if you're like me and turn it on at night, when you wake up it will be turned off so no need to worry about wasting power and potentially running the motor to poop.TL;DR: best jellyfish for movement, best tank size for cost, lots of lighting and dimming options, tank is on a timer of 4 hours, and very quiet.
