Works. Not cheap, but I've been using it two years with good effect
This stuff works better than the other brand I tried. It is rechargable, which the other brand theoretically is, but unlike the other brand it doesn't seem to go bad with repeated refreshing. For contrast, the stiff I was using before this has beads that go from orange to green. After 3 or four rechargings the orange stuff is half black and it never gets totally orange anymore. Not green, black -- dead beads that don't work -- and it is now notably less efficient where I use it. This stuff, blue, gets all dark blue again and works a treat after a refresh. I tend to refresh it when it's purplish/pinkish, not when it goes totally light, or when the humidity in the dry box no longer stays super low. To refresh I've been using an oven at 250 degrees for an hour. Sometimes it goes a little pale after it cools, but 5 minutes in the microwave at lower power (5 on mine) seems to finish the job and get it all blue again. Other times it's great straight out of the oven. I'm guessing it's humidity and temperature in my kitchen, but I've not experimented to see why, but either way I've had great results. Easy to do. My use cases are drawers that get musty, toolboxes, and especially dry boxes for gear that I have made from weather sealable boxes I got at the Home Depot. I throw a bag of the Silica gel in there and seal it up. With the other brand I can get it down to 30% humidity at best, with this brand those boxes are running barely above 20% humidity, and I recharged them the same at the same time. I'd assume all of this stuff is the same, but I guess I'm wrong. One way or another, I'm buying more of this stuff to replace the older stuff that's not working any more.

Excellent Moisture Control!
I recently purchased the Dry & Dry (1 Gallon) Premium Silica Gel, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! This product has exceeded my expectations in every way. Firstly, the packaging is fantastic. The gallon-sized container is sturdy, easy to open, and reseals perfectly to keep the silica gel fresh and effective. The included scooping tool is a nice touch, making it easy to dispense the right amount. As for the product itself, the silica gel beads are high quality and highly effective at absorbing moisture. I use them in various places around my home, including my closets, storage bins, and even my camera bag. Since I started using Dry & Dry, I've noticed a significant reduction in humidity and no signs of mold or mildew. What I love most is the color-changing indicator beads. They turn from orange to dark green when it's time to recharge the silica gel, so there's no guessing involved. This feature is incredibly convenient and ensures that the product is always working at its best. Overall, I highly recommend the Dry & Dry Premium Silica Gel. It's an excellent investment for anyone looking to protect their belongings from moisture damage. The large quantity, effectiveness, and thoughtful design make it a top-notch product. I'll definitely be purchasing this again!

Great for 3D Printer Filament
I use these to keep my 3d printer filament dry. They work great and are easy to reset and reuse.

Works well and most importantly: It is not hazardous waste!
This stuff sucks... Moisture away! I've been using this stuff to keep my 3D printing filament dry and it works wonderfully. I've also successfully recharged it in the oven twice now (Florida has high humidity). It's very easy to tell when it's time to recharge because the color indication is *very* apparent. It's also not hazardous waste like the blue color-indicating silica gel! Orange-to-green color-indicating silica gel uses Methyl Violet which is mostly harmless (but don't let your dog eat it!) whereas the blue-to-pink color-indicating silica gel is *seriously toxic hazardous waste*: It uses chromium chloride. WARNING: If you spill it IT MAKES A HUGE MESS. Ugh. I've experienced a small spill and a *large* spill now and let me tell you: It's like dropping a million little ball bearings on the floor. They *go every which way* and will sneak into every nook and cranny in your garage/house. They also *hurt* when you accidentally step on them barefoot in the middle of the night to get a drink. They're also hard to see because the green color is semi-transparent which is the perfect camouflage for an object on the floor of any house or garage. If you *do* spill just vacuum them up. Yeah, they'll get dirty as all heck--they'll even *attract* dirt and make the floor extra clean--but silica gel still works fine when dirty. Also, if you're thinking, "I'll just wash them off" DO NOT DO THAT! If you pour water over this kind of silica gel IT CAN EXPLODE. Not in a dangerous sort of way, no. In a MESSY sort of way. So after doing a great job vacuuming it all up you'll have to repeat the process all over again except this time you'll have to vacuum the walls as well!

Great value but packaging seems like it could be better
Incredible value and a great product but I'm pretty unhappy the product doesn't come in a tub or some other storage solution. it came in a ziplock bag with a sealed outer foil bag. Sad but ease of use and packaging are huge for this. I don't need it all over my floor because a bag tipped, etc. It would be a 5+ star affair had this not been the case. It works great, changes colors when done (tested in my car after a car wash). I'm currently using it in a small gun safe, in individually sealed containers with fly-tying materials (natural skins and hairs), fly-tying hooks, a plastic sealed ammo can, in my fly fishing reel box (just in case the backing and line haven't dried out all the way, put them in the container without their neoprene socks on first) and I put a few in an emergency supply bag along with a few sealed fire starting packs as well. I have simply placed a moderate amount in full size letter envelopes and sealed the envelope seams with painters tape. Good to go.

I ran my ear pod pros through the washer and dryer without realizing. Found them several days later in the bottom of my laundry bag. Dead! I've been wanting to purchase these beads for quite some time (to keep my 3D printing filament free of moisture). After this little incident, I pulled the trigger. I submerged my ear pods and the case in a tupperware container full of the beads and let them sit for 3-4 days. The beads changed color, indicating that they absorbed moisture, so I fully charged them and they work! Couldn't be happier. Thought I was out a couple hundred dollars. Cannot recommend enough! :)
