Great product
Works better than any other natural deodorant I've tried. I've been using it for a few months, so over the winter. Summer is the true test, but so far, I never smell even a hint of funk... Even after find to the gym. I'm a petite woman but for some reason I can get a real man sized man smelling odor going on when I sweat. It's terrible. At work I often have to wear several layers of protective clothing and i can get ripe under there because wearing all that is hot and I get super sweaty. Then I take the lab coat and protective gear off and have to go to... A meeting. Or my kids school. Or wherever and I would know that I smelled like a sweaty man. But that doesn't happen anymore! Now I don't stink. Now... The smell of the deodorant itself isn't the best for whatever reason but I do find it to be light and I don't notice it once I have it on. I haven't had any rashes. No itching. No build up. Doesn't stain my clothes. Doesn't discolor my clothes that I'm wearing. I have found that it's really important to put it on after completely drying off, the area can't be wet. Then after applying I really need to wait before putting a shirt on and I have to allow the product to dry down a bit. If I don't wait a few minutes the product seems to mostly transfer to my shirt and I'm not sure how effective that is. Also you don't need a lot. Hardly any. I find the applicator to be just fine. Some of these reviews complain about it, but I think they are probably dispensing way too much product or their pits weren't dry to begin with. If you have too much product or your pits are wet it will just get pushed around and won't apply evenly. That said, I love it, but it is really expensive. They have a captive audience (since this works compared to every other natural deodorant I've ever tried and I've tried all the popular ones) so I guess they can charge what they want, for now, but I feel like they would get more sales at Lower price point. Minimally, I was very hesitant to drop $16 on a stick of deodorant the first time I bought this, and I was really desperate. Imagine all the non desperate people who will never try it because of the price. They need a one time coupon or something to get people to just try it once. Agree that I'm sure many will plop down fat wads of cash for this product... Assuming people still have jobs and money of course in a few months. That got dark. #stayhome

It smells like nothing after a short bit, and works and works really well, actually.
I’ve been using this for 10 weeks, I’ve seen a lot of people say how much they hate the smell of this stuff. I can only speak for the vanilla scent. It does not really smell like vanilla, smells more like sunscreen actually, which isn’t bad at all, but either case, the smell GOES AWAY after a short while and then, I don’t smell anything! NO BODY ODOR nor fragrance. This I really like! I have had friends smell my pits too just to double check and they all say woah I don’t smell anything at all. So maybe it does matter what is smells like initially when you first put it on if in 30 minutes it disappears anyway 🤷🏻♀️. I’ve also heard some say that depending on your armpit toxicity from using toxic deodorants, going through a current detox, or just currently still having a somewhat high toxin influx of products and environment, (it can be a hard process, detoxing life! That’s for sure!) that it may take a little time for it to work like it says. In other words, don’t judge in absolute form on the first day. This probably requires more research for validity but I just thought I’d mention. Maybe give it a week or more before coming to any conclusions? I did not experience a delay in its effectiveness but it seems others did. I plan on trying the other scents eventually, but this one “stick” (it’s more like a paste dispenser) is lasting a really long time so it may be awhile. You don’t need very much at all. I’ve had on stick over two months. I also don’t need to use it every day, maybe every other. This is also nice because they aren’t exactly cheap. But again I don’t mind because it works BETTER than any other deodorant I’ve used, even the Mitchum (Mitchum I used when I was doing sports and sweating a lot—it worked great for a short time then suddenly did not, within a few weeks. I was told body and the bacteria adapted and that has happened to others too I hear? I’ve been using Lume for over two months, 10 weeks to be exact and it’s working great still). I do wish there was a smaller sample pack to try all the scents because I’m curious lol. Maybe they will offer this in the near future as many have also mentioned wishing for this. They may eventually adapt the scents too who knows 😊.

“Smells like poo”
This is an update to my previous review which I am leaving here to show how awfully my experience progressed. I had to stop using it. I hate to waste products, but this one had to go in the trash. The longevity got even worse as time went on and something strange started to happen. I wasn’t a fan of the smell in the first place, but I read from the company on a Facebook ad that the smell is supposed to be very mild and fade away leaving you unscented. Well...it didn’t do that with me...after I would apply it’s like this product would react with my body chemistry and intensify this foul play dough/funky butt smell. This isn’t at all what my body odor smells like at all by the way. I saw someone else in the Facebook ad mention that it made her smell stinky. Well, I continue using the deodorant because it isn’t always that bad and again, I hate wasting stuff. I work in child care and one day the 3YO kept saying he smelled something stinky like poo and he didn’t like it and left the room. Then later he was sitting in my lap and said “you smell like poo!!!” And ran away. I had him smell my breath and clothes and he was like “no that’s not the smell”. I didn’t think to have him smell underarm at the time, but thought of it when I got home because the deodorant was gross that day. After being embarrassed by a 3YO I buy something else and start using - complete 180 in effectiveness and smell. The next time I see the kid he says “you don’t smell like poo today, you smell like yummy sugar”. So if you don’t want to be told be a child that you smell like poo don’t buy this deodorant cuz it’s not worth the price if your body chemistry doesn’t mix with it well. (Previous)This may be a premature review, but I have to get my thoughts of how it is now out there. I have used this deodorant 3 days now. I plan on letting the bottle run it’s course and will update this review if anything changes. For starters, I am not happy with this product. After reviewing ingredients and seeing things other natural deodorants don’t have I was very optimistic. I have been using natural deodorant for almost 2 years, so I am past the “detox stage”. I have tried a variety of native, variety of Schmidt’s, love beauty planet, crystal, and another brand I can’t remember the name of. I guess I will start with the good before I get to the bad: It does surprisingly control my sweat more than other deodorants. I still obviously get sweaty, but I don’t feel much wetness on my underarm area. I also like that it doesn’t make my underarms feel goopy like some other brands have. Now for the bad: •I got the coconut scent, which you can hardly smell. I don’t mind that too much bc I don’t like over fragranced products. The underlying smell makes the product kind of smell like play dough though. •This product irritates my underarm mildly. I’m lucky and most deodorants do not bother my underarm but this one does •I have the kind that is supposed to be a deodorant stick, which isn’t really a stick at all. I dial up the tiniest amount and apply. When I wipe the product of the “stick” it always presses more out which is annoying because I end up with too much. It also makes a mess on the lid •Here’s the big one:longevity....I showered this morning, applied lume, went about the rest of my routine and went to work. I started to notice some stinky smell coming through as early as 10:30am...which is only about 3 hours from the time of applying. By the end of the day I am pretty funky. Even if I wipe my underarms down with a paper towel when I notice they’re moist. I will say they aren’t as bad as they can be after other deodorants, but I really expected a stellar product here and this one is mediocre. •Value: not worth $16

Effective but not for sensitive skin
I have been on a life long journey to find an effective deodorant, and I have pretty much tried everything that's out there, including the prescription strength types, and in general I'm willing to try anything that claims 24hr or more protection. Let me tell you that such thing does not exist, at least not the one that worked for me. I have bought two different deodorants and the tube unscented one. I have been using them for about two weeks now. These ones claim 72 hours protection and that also proved wrong which I expected. However it is effective more than any other deodorant I have tried. I'm talking about not being able to smell my own sweat at the end of the day. I'm actually almost impressed with it, however there are a few downsides worth mentioning. I don't have a very sensitive skin and generally can tolerate various chemicals and natural ingredients, but this one did give me a mild underarm redness after a few days that went away after I skipped an application for a day. Since it was only mild and not bothersome to me, I did continue to use it, daily and I have to say it works well at keeping sweat odor away for a whole day. I shower twice a day so I don't need a 72 hours of protection so it works well for my lifestyle. It has a cream-like consistency unlike your usual deodorant, and it comes out gooey from the stick. Takes some getting used to, but not a big deal. Now the scent, I have to agree with the majority of reviews on this.....it's repulsive and I don't understand that something filled with natural ingredients can smell so bad. All three products I tried almost smell the same with very small stinky difference, even the unscented one. The positive side to the negative scent is that once it dries the scent goes away and you can't really smell anything after 10 min or so. The key is to use only small pea sized amount. I was using it this way and had no issues with dry residue or clothing stains. Also I tried to skip an application for a day in between to test it out, and my sweet didn't smell as strong as it would with other deodorants. Overall, even with the terrible scents, to me it's totally worth it to not have to worry about body odor mid day so for that reason I would recommend it. The price is steep for a stick deodorant, but I'm willing to pay it (at least during summer time) as long as it stays effective. If you have a very sensitive skin it may give you an irritation, but otherwise I would recommend it if you can deal with a little stink in order not to stink. :)

I smell like nothing..... NOTHING!
I have been using natural deodorants or no deodorant at all for the last 4 years and I can safely say I have tried like every natural deodorant that exists on the market so I feel extremely qualified to write this review. All of them either don’t work, smell awful, Or leave me with welts or rashes (Native being the worst offender). Previous to this, the only one I could use for any length of time was the Dove 0%, but it wears off quite quickly in the hot florida summer. To be fair, I am not a Very smelly person, nor am I a big sweater. I will tell you that there are some definite opportunities, however the pros far outweigh the cons. We will start with the cons: 1- the initial smell is a little less tangerine and a little more earthy citrus. But it goes away very quickly, like as soon as it dries and your left with really no smell at all. So if you are looking for something With fragrance to mask scent, this is not it. 2- it’s a little on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way, like you barely need any and for me it lasts at least 2 days even after a shower. Pros: 1-I literally smell like NOTHING! no joke, I’m currently on day 3 and my armpit has no smell at all. We went to an outdoor fall festival and I sweat like crazy all afternoon in the 90 degree heat. I smell other places, my armpits smell like air. I even showered yesterday morning before we went and did not put any on after. 2- even the scented versions seem to have little smell. I am extremely sensitive to scents. I am 7 months pregnant and everything with fragrance makes me want to puke. The initial scent is a little citrus earthy (I got the tangerine) but it goes away almost immediately and you are left with zero smell. 3- you need very little. One click twist will do both armpits and lasts me 2-3 days. 4- my skin is very sensitive. I get rashes and welts in my armpits almost immediately and from basically everything. I have had no reaction to this and I have been using it over a week now.

This Is the Cream Version, Not the Stick, and the Scent Is Very Different
I absolutely love Lume and the Fresh Alpine scent is by far my favorite. Since it's seasonal and not available in stores, I ordered it online and accidentally purchased the Invisible Cream instead of the Smooth Solid Stick that I normally use. Unfortunately, the Invisible Cream version has a very different scent to me. I can still detect the Fresh Alpine fragrance, but it's mixed with an odd smell that reminds me of Cheez-Its. I have no idea why, but it's noticeable enough that I find it off-putting. The Smooth Solid Stick doesn't have this issue and smells fantastic. The product itself works well, but I was disappointed, especially considering the $15.99 price tag. If you're a fan of Fresh Alpine, I would recommend sticking with the Smooth Solid Stick version. I know I will be once it's available again.

It works!
It works! I have tried several other natural deodorants in an effort to stop using antiperspirants and none of them have worked for as long as would have liked them to work. By mid day my underarm was slightly damp and I smelled like BO. My husband said he couldn’t smell me but it made me feel self conscious. I have been using Lume for 5 days and can say so far I do not wake up on the morning smelly. I may have a slight BO smell but I’m getting in the shower anyway. I also don’t feel as wet as I was feeling with the last deodorant. That being said, I am still not sure about the scent. The lavender sage initially smells like lavender and has this odd almost musty smell that I think I supposed to be sage. I think I have grown to like it, and at least I don’t stink, but I would like to smell the other scents. Some scents can bother me and give me migraines but this one does not. It makes me reluctant to try the others as this stuff ain’t cheap. **Update** I wanted to update my review after using it daily for a few months. I have had many natural deodorants work for a couple of months and then stop working for me. This deodorant still works! In fact, I forget that I am using a natural deodorant because I don't stink. I only use this under my arms but I am sure it would also work in the nether regions. I just opened my second stick. I use about 2-3 mm under each arm every day and one stick lasted me almost exactly 4 months (November 14- February 15). I am pleased with how it works, the scent and price!

I'm Happy with it.
I will start out by saying, I do not really know if it lasts for a full 72 hours because I just can't go 72 hours with out a bath, shower, or at least an extremely good sponge bath, but I have stretched it out to around 48 hours and I did notice I wasn't smelling like vinegar under my arms, or like ammonia from my pantie area. I did not smell freshly bathed, but I did not have any noticeable odor either. My underarms, even though I had sweated, smelled pretty much like my forearm. I have been using the Lume, both the Lavender Sage and the Peony Rose for about 2 months now and there has been no real odor after the initial fragance from the product wears off. I liked it enough I placed another order for more Lavender Sage and an Unsented for my Daughter and Grand daughter. I am pleased that this product does seem to do what it says. It is not an anti-presperant, you are going to sweat if you get hot, or exercise. And once you do get sweaty, you are not going to feel fresh and clean. You will still feel that feeling of having dried sweat on your body, so it is not bath or shower substitute, it just keeps you from smelling like what ever your sweat smells like. The truth is, for me Anti-presperant keeps me feeling fresher for longer after a shower, but it only works for about 24 hours for me. And it also has all of the chemicals I don't really want on my body. Hope this helps. I am not super fond of the product smell, but it is very light and fades in minutes, and that is better to me than having a deodorant that has a smell that lasts much longer, but clashes with your soap fragance or your perfume.

Great product but strong scent.
The scent is too strong but that's probably where you get the 72 hours. Amazing product though!

GAME CHANGER - GO GET IT!!!
GO GET IT!!!
