Dear DD , Greetings!!This is Rishika form Hamee , thank you for message . It has the octave switches , With two hands you can play practically every melody you want within range of one octave. You can change octave in three grades -low-mid-high by sliding lower slider. With upper slidder you can either turn off/on Otamatone or increase volume of Otamatone speaker. I have asked amazon to update image please give us sometime it will reflect. Thank you !!

Yes it comes in the original packaging and instructions as shown in the picture but there is no strap.

No, it does not. This was one of the least expensive models... to try it out.
