I just got my sharpener. It sharpens unevenly and makes a horrible squeaking sound....defective or normal for this model??

Mine does not sharpen perfectly each time but if I rotate the pencil it works fine. I have not experienced the squeaking sound.

Does this have auto stop?

Its flyaway cutter feature stops sharpening when pencils reach their ideal sharpness.

does it work for 220v?

No, X-ACTO School Pro Electric Pencil Sharpener works with 120V.

Can you sharpen watercolor pencils, charcoal pencils and so on?

X-ACTO School Pro Pencil Sharpener is compatible with graphite pencils, colored pencils, and watercolor pencils. If the product is a non-wood pencil or non-wood writing instrument, it is not recommended.
