Kahwa Cuban Coffee Beans, Cubano Dark Roast Espresso Blend, Whole Bean Coffee, 1 lb Bag

I have been ordering all kinds of espresso coffees, and every version of dark roast coffee that I could find, and had so far been very disappointed. Even with the Lavazza coffee. I kept getting old, stale bags of coffee. Until now! This is exactly what I have been searching for! ☺️ Very rich, very bold, very intense,very very roasty flavor, but not acidic at the end. The only other coffee i found that I liked was the Mayorga brand dark roast. Very good, but a different flavor. It's on the sweetee side, and not as bold and intense. I'm am soooo happy I took a chance on the Kahwa Cuban coffee beans!

If you drink coffee you are probably.looking for a coffee with consistently good taste...this is it! Strong in flavor but in no way bitter. Just pure good flavor cup after cup. I like to grind my own beans but with this coffee I swear the pre ground is as good as whole bean. So if coffee is what gets you moving in the morning you really need to try this one.

Beans smelled okay, looked oily, and ground up nicely. There was a coffee flavor which became lighter with finer grind size. Low acidity so no tang. Very smooth shots, very pleasant but lacking flavor. The crema was crazy good.

This coffee is amazing. I wanted to try a new brand. I got the 1 lb bag to try and the flavor was so good, unlike other espresso I’ve tried before. I had to order it again to see if it was real, and it did not disappoint! Would definitely continue to get the Kahwa espresso again. (Note: only for the 1 lb version) For the 2.2 lb larger bag - What the heck?!? I thought I had found the best espresso having tried the 1 lb Kahwa in a couple of separate orders. I thought it would be great to start a subscription with the larger bag and make this my routine! I was wrong. Don’t get the larger bag!!! I don’t know why, but even on first pull, it was terrible. The espresso tasted like it was strained through an old sock!! This can’t be the same coffee!? How can it be so different?

My Breville has turned me into a decent barista and enjoying good fresh ground coffee beans questions buying a drink outside my home. Delicious dark roast, oily beans, if you like a dark roast, no sour bitter notes. I don’t know how to express notes like a wine, I’ll add that to my barista training. I had the pleasure of being in North St. Petersburg with my sister at a Kahwa coffee shop and just loved the vibes as well as the coffee. In the photos you can see the cappuccino and a shot. The dosing is just right for a delicious dark roast. We also purchase the Sirocco and now difficult to find Mistral. The Greenwise in Tallahassee now serves Kahwa coffees too.

I enjoy a "strong" cup of coffee, something with body and boldness but not bitter, so I was very disappointed in this brand. After grinding the beans and brewing it, I personally thought it was very weak-tasting, although it was not bitter at all which is a good thing! The next day, I added some extra scoops to hopefully make the brewed coffee a little stronger - that kind of worked, but it was still not as "bold" as I would have liked it. In fact, my husband commented that it tastes like strong tea - not what we're looking for when buying quality coffee beans. I would not buy this brand again.

As soon as you open the bag and catch a whiff, you'll want a cup. The aromas from the grinding and brewing are insane. This coffee was delicious. I added some cream and sweetener. The depth of flavor was amazing. I have never had Cuban coffee before....the rich, deep flavor has already made me a huge fan! I'll add some dark chocolate to the cup before brewing next time and some whipped cream on top. Who needs an expensive mocha drink from certain chain coffee houses when this coffee is so good?! I'll be picking up a cubano sandwich and a cuban pastry after work to go with this amazing coffee.

This coffee is wonderful! More expensive than other brands, but so much better than the others.
