Let me start by saying this honey is very good, pure, has a beautiful color and texture. I love that it has a small honeycomb in it to enjoy straight from the hive; what a treat! It arrived in perfect condition with no leakage. It's thick and delicious. Now, to the cons part of the review. I understand why honey producers choose to ship their honey out in plastic bottles. Shipping in glass is a big risk. I purchase honey from all over the world, and because of the price, I don't complain about the plastic bottles because I understand the reasoning behind it. However, if the consumer is unaware of how to store honey properly, this could represent some issues for the consumer. Honey that is left in plastic food grade jars for extended periods will crystalize faster and can begin to deteriorate and leach from the plastic. Then to get rid of the crystallization, consumers heat those plastic bottles in water that is too hot, and they end up killing off all the healthful benefits in the honey. Nearly 200 components including antibacterial ones, are killed off in temps above the human body (98.6). So, to sum up; when I receive honey like this in a plastic jar, I sterilize Amber Mason Jars, first in hot soapy water, then in a sterilizer bath, then place in a 110-degree oven for about 20 minutes before transferring my honey to the jar. When kept in a dark pantry, it will never expire if kept airtight. I do this because I keep at least 20 jars of honey from all over the world on hand. I use honey in my tea, in Fire Cider, baking, health remedies (I'm an herbalist). Archeologists have found 6,000-year-old honey buried, that is still good. I plan on buying several jars of this honey because it is just so very good. I will divide it up in quart jars as well as the squatty little 8oz Mason Jars to keep close to my tea pot, next to my disposable (compostable) wooden spoons. I would highly recommend this honey and truly, enjoy the comb inside! I hope this information helps on preserving your honey if you have a lot of it.

Super happy with my purchase. I decided to give this honey a try glad I did, Color is gorgeous taste is so good. Perfectly sweetened will pair nicely with my smoothies, fruit. I'm currently dealing with a nagging cough after a few teaspoons my cough has slowed down. My 1st experience with honey comb I love how nutritious it is. My bottle came with a nice size piece. I'm getting use to the texture I plan to eat it for the health benefits. I'm obsessed, my new favorite go to wildflower honey!!! I highly recommend this honey. It tastes very good and I am glad to have real honey but I don't know why it doesn't say anything about the honey on the bottle

This is good honey, but the piece of honeycomb is sort of there for show. I was able to fish out a tiny piece and it was nice, but like I said, the honeycomb more of a novelty. That's why I gave it 4 stars, because the example bottle shows a nice big chunk of comb. I was really looking forward to tasting a nice big piece of un-oxidized honey from the comb (that is the best honey in the world). I decided to stir the honey comb into the honey, this way there would little bits of honey comb in every serving. Though I woudn't suggest doing this if you plan to use the honey for hot drinks. The honey itself tastes really good, I have used it to make honey mustard dressing and it was amazing! It has a deep, rich HONEY flavor. I can see this being a good addition to sauces, especially barbecue sauces, or baked beans...yum! There didn't seem to be any leakage from the bottle, but the threads were gunked up with old, dried honey, which if this were any other type of product, I would have been upset about, but honey is pretty shelf stable. The "expiration date" (LOL) is listed to be a couple of years away, so that's nice. I don't think it will last that long.

Great honey

I first bought this honey from Walmart but this is a larger size and I get 2 jars. I eat spoonfuls in the morning. Tastes so good not too strong for me.

Excellent honey. I did a blind taste test against a big store brand. There's no comparison. I'll be buying again soon.
