I bought this book just after discovering Kevin Espiritu and his YouTube channel, Epic Gardening. I had lost my love for gardening after becoming a mom. Now that I am an empty nester and stumbling on Kevin - I am recharged!!! This book, Grow Bag Gardening is such a surprise to me. Kevin's approach of affordable quick creation, multiple use and succession planting made veg gardening so very appealing again to me. I loved his suggestion of moving bags to collect what sunlight they need vs giving up the idea of growing say, tomatoes b/c of space or light restrictions. I like his clear and logical scientific explanations of plant biology. Knowing these things should help me in making good decisions about what to plant and how. Kevin has made it even easier to understand by providing copious amounts of clear color photos. After reading this book, I will be planting more than I expected (Flowers! Potatoes! Climbing beans!) as the seeds have been started. I am confident because he has included trouble shooting and a resources section to help me find what I need and an affordable price. This summer should be delicious!! NOTE: I have already sent this book to two other people!

My first garden was a container garden. Nearly two decades of gardening later, I have found that I actually have more success and fun container gardening than more traditional methods. I purchased some grow bags last summer and had great results but didn't get past growing a few greens and some basil in them. I was excited to see this book come out for more ideas. It is both comprehensive and efficient and I have all kinds of new inspiration for my garden this spring and summer. We're going to be moving in the next year or two and there are certain things I have held off planting because I want to take them with me. So, we're going to give them a go and see what happens. Kevin Espiritu of Epic Gardening gives outstanding advice on all things grow bag related. From types of soil, plant requirements and the merits of grow bag gardening, he guides you through the whole process to help get successful results. The book is full of beautiful illustrations and makes a very interesting read. I will be referring back to this guide again and again to utilize his expertise in my own grow bag gardening. An excellent resource.

I have loved and learned from Kevin and all his Epic productions for years. I loved this book so much that I bought a second copy and some grow bags as a gift for my Nana’s 90th birthday. She and my aunt are enjoying a new-to-then gardening experience after a lifetime of gardening. This book has inspired me for gardening with my toddler, expanding my apartment garden, my nana after decades of gardening, and made all of it more accessible and fun for all of us.

This is an excellent book. It's got everything from soil recipes, to cultivar lists, to DIY plans for accessories. The author was very thoughtful in giving the reader all the information they need while organizing it in a way that's easy to understand and fun to read. There are tons of good images along the way. If you're looking for a good way to get fired up about your grow bag garden, this is the place to start.

I really like this book. I am enjoying the format in which it's written. It seems very organized while providing a lot of information. A lot good information woven together efficiently without unnecessary embellishment. It's easy to read & gives me more confidence on using the grow bags as my garden this year.

I started gardening with cloth bags 7 yrs ago, after seeing them on display. I found bits of information here and there but now it's super to have a whole book with nothing but grow bags. There is so much covered in this book!! Very well presented with loads of photos and info.
