To my knowledge it is made in Africa and probably not GMO, but I don't honestly know. It is tasty, however.

NO. It is nothing like grits. It is extremely smooth-textured, not grainy at all. Similar to cornstarch, and while that doesn't sound too good, I came to love it while traveling in Africa. It is really easy and fast to cook, and I add raisins, brown sugar, butter and cream!! I know that might be overkill and it isn't really necessary to add all that stuff, but I love those other ingredients too. I definitely recommend trying it, even if you add just a little something, because it is quite bland, but a very good comfort food.

They came the package was ripped off, and poured inside the box but taste good. My suggestion to the seller try and pack them with extra puffs that will avoid ripping of the thin package on the flour, the flour is expensive already for the size, therefore invest in the packaging to the customers.
