L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Pro Matte Gloss, Rouge Envy, 0.21 fl. oz.

This color is perfect for my coloring without looking garish, and I like that it goes on like a lip gloss and yet is a matte. The wand is angled perfectly to use it to line your lips with the color and also to fill it in. I use a fairly thin layer to make it look more natural and a less, “Hey-I’m-wearing-lipstick!” look. I’ve found that when I put it on conservatively, it stays put for a long time on my lips, even when eating/drinking. The Statement Nude color is neither too dark or bright, but it has a richer color than your standard nude. I am naturally very fair complected with dark hair and dark eyes, and using this as a more natural-looking hint of color works for me without looking like a vampire, LOL. When I want to wear more makeup while dressing up, I simply apply a thicker coat on my lips and it stands out as a nice, rich color without looking overdone or wild looking (or like a vampire in my case). This a beautiful color for anyone, imho, who is looking for a prettier color than your typical nude. It seems to work well with most colors in my clothing, too. Another minor point is that it has a hint of a nice scent, and keeps my lips soft, despite the matte look (which can be drying for me in other lipsticks). You can make a little go a long way to make it last, too.

This color was way to pink on my pale skin but the formula was awesome. After I bought it and realized I loved the formula but not the shade, I went to the drug store where I could see the colors better and I bought statement nude. Great color for almost every skin tone. (It’s not anywhere near a nude on me but lovely none the less.) Really wish a L’Oreal would expand the line and give us at least ten more shades. It’s thicker then a gloss but not gloppy. It’s not actually matte but neither is it high shine. Its hard to describe, the best I can say is It’s more like a creme lipstick (not a super glossy creme but not totally matte either) that you melted down. But when it cooled it stayed viscous. It also fades pretty nicely. It leaves a stained look that doesn’t actually stain your lips. Sometimes I wear it alone or I blot the inner part of my lips then add a gloss to the part I blotted. Great lipstick. Also for a drugstore lipstick the fragrance isn’t to overwhelming. It smells like a baby doll’s head if anyone else remembers that fragrance. Powdery (like baby’s powder) and slightly plasticky.

My daughter recommended this for me, and even though I wear mostly pinks and with that, I thought I would give it a try!....It looked dark brown in the bottle and I got a littler nervous thinking that this would not be a good color for me...BUT I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on, how nice the color looked.....I just love it! I wear it all the time now......The Color Is "Statement Nude" and it is a great color and has a nice gloss to it too. {It looks so much different on, than the color showing in the container.} This lipstick goes on creamy and soft, and the color holds and stays put for a long time. I fell asleep with it on the day I tried it and it was dimmer, but still on when I woke up in the morning. I have since purchased a few more shades and they all are great colors. Don't let the color on the outside of the container fool you, this color is rich and beautiful on. I am fair skinned too, so I bet it will look even better when I get a summer tan going. The other colors were good and long lasting, Must be something in the composition of the pink dye that made it different from the rest. Ugly cakey clings to your teeth better than your lips

I bought this to try because the price was right. I could only use a little bit (I just wanted to use this for lip tint). A tiny bit did the job though. I read a review saying that this was not matte. Well I found out it wasn't glossy. Matte? Not completely. Nice true red color. Worked with my fair skin tone.

When I first opened the package all I saw was the very dirty, sticky looking top of the bottle. Upon opening the gloss I found it was MUCH more pink in color than what I thought it showed online. I did try it on and while I did like the smoothness of it and I liked that it didn’t have a “flavor” or smell.

Definitely pretty color for spring long lasting

If I could give this a negative ten I would. The picture shows a beautiful dusty rose. What you get is neon pink!!! It's worse than clown makeup! When applied, you'd probably glow in the dark. And it is very sloppy when applied. It's almost greasy. This I am returning and I will stick with the regular gloss that has never let me down.

The colour is great but find it doesn’t go on as smooth as I’d like and bleeds easily.
