I purchased this for a 3 year old birthday gift. With her birthday being in Nov I gave half the set and saved other half to give for Christmas. She was delighted to have family sets of animals. She recognized immediately there were babies to go along with parents. Fun gift to give that she will enjoy for a long time. Very sturdy.

These are by far the nicest made plastic animals. The paint is very realistic and I LOVE that they come with babies! My daughter just turned 8 and had a safari birthday party. We needed safari animals to put on the cake. I saw this pack and really liked them. They came and she saw them and adored them just as much as I did. HOWEVER the day of the party I got them out of the box and was getting them on the birthday cake and I realized some are anatomically correct. The tiger and lion are both males and have testicles, the giraffe is a female with mammary glands. My daughter didn't notice it and it doesn't need to be a big deal but it's something I would have preferred a heads up on. Included are pictures of the animals that are anatomically correct. They were perfect for decorating the cake, the tiger still has frosting on him! But you may choose to remove these animals from the pack if this bothers you. It's odd they only made these three to have gender specific body parts. All in all I like this set, very well made and wonderful paint job!

I used these to decorate a birthday cake and as party favors. The kids loved them. Most of the animals are great and it is nice to have adult animals with babies. I don’t understand, however, why the elephants are so small and not closer to scale — they are smaller than the zebras, for example.

Ordered these for a 4 and 6 yr old, and they love them. The baby animals are so cute, and everything is terrific colors and details. They're a very nice size for handling and putting with other items. They'd be perfect for teachers doing stories on Creation or Noah's Ark.

I ordered these for my 2 year old son. He absolutely loves them and so does his 5 year old sister. I bought a play mat of green rubber and bought some little fencing from the dollar tree in the toy section with some palm trees and other plastic toys for the landscaping and they play for hours with these. They are very sturdy and durable. I would consider buying more as needed in the future.
