So it was nice to see lovely colours being used, that ties into the Pinot Noir red wine theme.NB I put this bottle into my basket and waited till the price dropped, which it did after 2 weeks. I got £19 off the normal price. BRILLIANT.

Smokier and peatier than I expected (and usually like), and at nearly 60% proof this is a strong whiskey…but I’ve grown to love it despite my initial reservations. Pricey but a bargain if you get the half price deal (c£60).

I like this Tamavulin red wine cask. I'm no expert but this is the one I prefer from the Tamavulin cask range.
