The Illustrated Stories of Akbar and Birbal (Classic Tales From India) Hardcover – December 15, 2019

I was pleasantly surprised. The book itself is great quality, the stories are written in simple English. I had a great time reading them to my little one! we both enjoyed the book.

My daughter loved this book when she received this as a gift.

The stories are very poorly narrated...insipid and lacking a narrative arc. Such a shame because the Ambar Birbal canon is a classic, and makes for great story telling if done right, as many of us may recall from our childhoods. Very disappointed with this. Better ones definitely exist, and I will return these and keep looking.

Fun stories to read. My grandkids, whose father is from India, throughly enjoyed them, and so did he. Great illustrations.
