Ingersoll is the top of the line in air tools. The long barrel on this makes quick work of various task. High power. Don’t use the short barrel hammer if long barrel is a choice. The short barrel version makes a lot of noise and doesn’t get much accomplished. Think if you hold a hammer driving a nail if you use short swings the nail barely moves but if you have a long swing drives the nail quickly. The noise given off is comparable to any air hammer so wear hearing protection. From past experience and the reputation of the brand will last many years with proper oiling.

if you want an air hammer with a lot more power than a regular air hammer this one is a bad dude very nice quality

Absolutely worth the price. I was unable to remove D-bolts from an upper control arm. Completely seized in place. To save a few bucks, I purchased the Ingersoll Rand 114GQC and it did not have enough force. Hammered on the bolts relentlessly and the did not break free at all. Never even moved. Before giving up and cutting into the control arm and bushing, I went ahead and invested in the 135Max. Completely worth it. When I picked it up, you could just feel that this hammer was better built and had some “umph”. Hooked it up, pulled the trigger, and bolts didn’t stand a chance. They instantly broke free and came right out. I couldn’t believe it. Very satisfied with performance of this tool.

this air hammer is legit. not too heavy and powerful enough to take on any task.

Picked this up on Black Friday for 129, and for the money it beats every air hammer I’ve ever used and is up there in performance with the snap-on. It definitely has professional shop quality feel and weight to it and I really good progressive trigger you can throttle with a little bit of concentration. Make sure to use some kind of a hi-flow fitting to get the most power you can. Would purchase again!

Definitely competitive with the tool truck air hammers, very easy to control when you get the feel for it. Breaking things loose are normally a breeze (I am a Minnesota tech, so sometimes the rust can make things way harder than they should be.) If this won't knock it loose, the torch will. (it can't be stuck if it's a liquid right lol) Definitely recommend for those looking for a good air hammer, without spending tool truck money.

Works amazing so far. I work full time as an auto technican and I have loved this air hammer. And for the price its better than snap on

This is completely unacceptable. Tool is used, and worn out at some locations. MIssing air inlet and quick retainer The trigger is mushy and wobbly The tool (chisel side) is dirty with dust remains. Unbelievable

I've started a chat with Amazon and will return the product and be refunded. thank you Amazon. - Bought the hammer, and it took me nearly a month to get the attachments. On the second use, the trigger started jamming in the pressed position, making the tool uncontrollable. The return period from Amazon has expired, and I’ve been messaging Ingersoll Rand, but they haven’t replied.

Very happy with this so far, has excellent power, not as much power as a Matco or Snap on but then it's a 5th of the price!. It has done what I needed it to do in the shop which is removing broken studs and loosening stubborn wheel bolts. This is part of my professional tool kit and serves its purpose in a regular automotive shop. There are other reviews that talk about how well it performs for light truck applications.
