Absolutely it will! I have the 2TB QVO 870 in my Macbook Pro 2012. Works flawlessly. 
If you use the Disk Utility to clone from an upgrade (from Recovery mode) don't forget to go to Startup Disk in System Preferences to select the new disk afterwards.

Ignore the answer about journaling, it's only meta-data journaling, not full-data journaling.
Yes, you can still have data not committed on a power loss.

Meta-data journaling, which NTFS, Ext[34]/XFS and other file systems do, only mitigates the change the file system is inconsistent on a journal replay after power loss.  Meta-data, such as date, allocations (FAT in NTFS, iNode in Ext/XFS), ownership and permissions are what's stored in the FAT and directory attributes in the case of NTFS, and the inodes and areas like the superblock in the case of Ext/XFS.  Inconsistency is what causes future data loss, so meta-journaling and any replay after a power-on is so the file system remains consistent aka 'well ordered.'  But data blocks may still be lost as a result of a non-commit, which is not made to the journal, only meta-data goes into the journal.

Consumer NAND devices use DRAM for buffering and, at best, have capacitors and maybe 1-bit SLC or 2-bit MLC for buffering some writes, before it is written to 3-bit TLC or, in this case, 4-bit QLC.  But they are not really designed for data loss prevention.

The NT kernel in Windows also isn't designed for NVRAM on the system board, and 'raw' management of the NAND cells themselves.  That's why consumer NAND devices continue to ship DRAM.  At one time Microsoft had a more embedded/mobile OS called CE that did do some of these things, but it is long gone now.

The Linux kernel is the opposite, and can actually manage raw NAND cells and support NVRAM directly on the system board, so it could have a means to ensure all data is written post-recovery.  There are also new 'zoned' devices from storage vendors that are really high density, low cost,  including specific file systems, like Western Digital's ZDS.  But these are only supported by designs like the Linux kernel, and not on Windows.

And because Windows dominates PC sales, the consumer devices available at economies-of-scale (lower cost), have to be Windows compatible, even if the Linux-only hardware is cheaper to make.  So, just like GPUs, specialized storage devices that can take advantage of Linux features are all data center-specific, where Linux is the massive OS of choice, so the vendors make the most money there.  It's not worth them to sell to consumers.

Mine seems slower to boot and normal operations. Windows 10 latest update. Also using magician, why?

Download the latest version of Samsung magician and add a 5 or 10% OP Operational Cache and then turn on Rapid Mode an it'll perform faster by a lot.

The OP cache allows it to cache its data through its controller to use and also protects the drive from using up all its space. If you example have a 1TB an you use the full 938GB it'll be a lot slower, you'll need an want 5-10% For a cache.
