BirkenstockWomen's Arizona Sandals

So I ended up returning these mostly out of fear of them being fake. The reviews from just this month (which you had to find because the reviews that show up first are so outdated) were saying that they were fake/falling apart/defective. I have foot issues and I was not about to pay full Birkenstock price for fake shoes. So I went to a Birkenstock store and bought a pair to compare. Upon first comparison they look basically identical. The ones from amazon did show up in a beat up box but inside they were nice, had the tags attached etc. They had a few extra serial code numbers on varying straps that the in store purchased ones didn't have. I got the dark brown ones in the store and comparing the leathers it really felt like the black ones were more synthetic. They were almost slick on the backside of the strap instead of having that textured suede feel. Maybe something to do with black versus brown leather. I don't know...Also I got nervous because the store I went to didn't sell them in black, the actual Birkenstock.com store was out of stock in black so it made me curious that amazon had them fully in stock. Which would normally be fine except there are also several articles saying that Birkenstock will no longer put their products on Amazon because there was no way to regulate the knock offs. I couldn’t add th link below but there are a lot more out there. So I basically didn't want to risk it because some people were saying they were the best shoes ever while others were saying they were fake so I just didn't want to take the risk. This was my first pair so I don't know true birkenstock quality so I couldn't compare them to anything. I hope this review helps someone out because looking at the most recent reviews definitely made me nervous to purchase this shoe

I have worn Birks for YEARS and never have I experienced the heavy staining on my feet. I did research and it said water proofing might help and as you can see, it didn't do any good. Mind you, I did not get these wet. These are stains just from wearing these for a few hours. Nd scrubbing the stain off requires dawn and a scrub brush! I'm very upset to pay this money and not be as ble to wear them.

I had Birks back in my 90's rave days and was so excited to see the style back. I love Birkenstocks they are comfortable, reliable shoes. I got the mocha fun style and black traditional black straps. They have way more support than flip flops and you can truly walk in these for miles with no discomfort. I have wore with everything from dresses to yoga pants!

I’ve owned these Birkenstock’s for almost 2 years now and they will not break in to the point where they don’t run off skin. The top straps are very rigid with metal staple like structures on the underside. Very poor design for Birkenstock. I expect more out of $125 shoe. Very disappointed.

I'm 5'5 and a plus sized woman, I have WIDE feet, normally wear a womans size 11 which are a little long for me sometimes but it can help with the width. I called Birkenstock and asked if this runs true with their shoes and they said "no, it just makes the shoe longer". I went to a local store before buying these to be fitted because I didn't think any of the 'girlie' styles would fit me. Most womens styles are made with the narrow foot bed. I was sized with the "Arizona" style figuring i would need a mens size. But after being fitted it became apparent I could order certain womens styles as long as they are made on the regular sized footbed. I selected "M" as the width which only came with the soft footbed. I do have a high instep and needed to have 1 hole added to the second strap, otherwise they are perfect and I love them!The color is a nice deep rich brown that looks like it will age nicely!These are my first pair of Birkenstocks, the footbed has been pretty comfortable. I had one hot spot on my foot from a part of the strap, so I want to avoid blisters the first time I wear them all day. I'm wearing them a few hours a day with socks to break in the straps.

I read and read and searched and searched and still have a blue pair from the 1990's I wasn't sure about 'narrow' size but it is really the 'normal' regular M in American sizing. I wear a 9 1/2 Medium normally and cannot wear any enclosed shoe that is narrow, but Birkenstock is the exception.I apparently had the wrong size for my 1st Blue Pair HA. Because THIS ONE was spot on with the fit. So that's my tip. Narrow Women's size for a Birkenstock would be the American "M" Medium in my observation. It was for me. Narrow is Normal - Wide is for a more amble woman's foot.

The shoe fits like a birkenstock should but the ""Birkibuc™ synthetic nubuck upper made from acrylic and polyamide felt fibers" is total garbage. I have had these 9 months and already one of the straps have broke! If you wear with socks like I do around the house...the felt underside of the straps will create little felt balls that stick out under the straps and looks really tacky. I can't believe I paid $95 for mine!! ughI suggest saving up a bit more money and invest in an all leather birkenstock that will last forever.

These are without a doubt the best shoes I have ever purchased! They were incredibly comfortable even right out of the box! I have high arches and regular sandals kill my feet, but these offer more than enough support and durability for every day activities.This is my first ever pair of Birks but I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

First pair of Birks in my life. I needed a good support sandal/shoe for everyday wear that would not wear out. I loved my Crocs but I kept having to replace them as the soles would constantly wear a hole in certain spots. (I am on my feet all day as a chef and walk a lot, outside of work). These Birks were a little stiff at first (4 days) but conformed to my feet and my walking style quickly. Love them, they really are worth the money. These were the prettiest ones I could find as the other attractive ones had the toe toggle/wrap thing and I wanted to be able to wear thick wool socks in the winter. I am a year-round sandal wearer who lives in Canada, and unless it snows, thick socks are all I need. As to comfort, I no longer wake up with sore feet as I did with the Crocs. These Birks totally support my knees, my ankles, and all the bones in my feet. I feel stronger in my bones and muscles when I walk and stand. These sandals have changed how I am and how I feel for the better. I went to the Birkenstock main website to look at their sizing models to see which was best for me and then I shopped around for the best price. This style however seems to be discontinued because it was no longer online or in my local shops and so I was happy to find it with an Amazon satellite seller of a real mom & pop shoe store who thanked me for my business. Another benefit to the Amazon world- a small local retailer has access to the global marketplace and woman in Canada can get the German-made shoes she wants from Washington, USA waiting for soup to cook as she shops at the kitchen table.

If the seller is DASOUN, BEWARE! They are not authentic Birkenstocks, and are from China. Just received mine in the mail and they stink of chemicals and cheap material!! There's visible glue imperfections, the upper material is poorly laser cut and has strands everywhere... the soles don't curve as authentic Birkenstocks do, the print on the footbed isn't indented, the list is extensive! I am in the return process now. Don't waste your money trying to find good deals and getting scammed in the end, just invest in real ones from an authorized seller.

This product was not the soft bed sole like listed. Had a difficult time returning it to seller but Amazon fixed the problem.

I bought these for my wife. She loves them. Fit as advertised.
