THE BEST white noise sleep aid, so much better than a digital recording / device. We take ours on every trip. Sure, they need a little space and it is worth every inch, esp. if you use one for at-home sleep, your brain is trained to tune out when it turns on and the zip up hard case makes it perfect for packing and travel. Our is plug in so I can't speak to battery life. My partner travels for weeks at a time and this is a life saver for shared accommodation. It is perfect to place between two beds to smooth out snoring or sleep noise. I recently (accidentally!) :| knocked our off a side table it landed on its top, but nothing cracked or broke loose. I turned it back over and it rattled for a moment, but then smoothed out and has been functioning perfectly ever since. Really, get one for your bedroom and for your backpack--you will not regret it! I should add, we also have one in our bedroom that we don't travel with. I've had it for about a decade and use it every single night. It still runs as smoothly and purrs as perfectly as it did the first day I used it. It's so lovely that there's still a quality product in this world and one that helps us to sleep. What a wonder!

Comes with a great hard case for travel but it's the same size as my other Dohm sound machine. I love this thing and now I have one for on the go.

I didn’t realize how much I depended on my summer Fan Noise to help me sleep until I started using my new Sound Machine… during the winter I need this device instead of a Fan!

working from home in the mental health field, i wanted to get my own noise machine to allow for more comfortable sessions with clients/participants. dohm has always been a reliable source. i love this machine as it has three settings, with the lowest being the best volume when keeping the machine inside my room. the case is super handy when i need to take it with me. i have no complaints!

Have only had this since Feb, only used it a few times. A couple overnight for sleeping. A couple times to create privacy for conversations. It already has a rattle. So now, instead of white noise, it’s annoying rattling. And now it’s too late to return so I’m stuck with it.

Turn it on and within one hour it stopped working.

Super disappointed. I believe this is the best machine on the market however, we must’ve received a lemon! It completely stopped working after only a few months of use.
