A Sweet, Kid-Friendly Dental Routine Enhancer
Finding a mouth rinse that my 5-year-old daughter is willing to use consistently has been a blessing, and Listerine Smart Rinse for Kids has been our go-to for the past two years. It’s the only flavor she’ll use, and although I’m not sure if there are other flavors available, she loves the berry splash (more like berry bubble gum) so much that we haven’t felt the need to switch. We rely on Amazon’s subscribe & save to deliver it to our doorstep monthly, ensuring we’re never out of stock—especially since it can be hard to find locally. The mouthwash is surprisingly sweet and, importantly, doesn’t contain alcohol, so there’s no stinging, making it perfect for kids. My daughter now reminds me if we ever skip her rinse routine, which shows how well she’s adopted the habit of using it. It’s made establishing good dental hygiene habits so much easier, something I’m not sure would be as straightforward with less kid-friendly options. Listerine has definitely helped make dental care a less daunting task for both of us. For parents looking to encourage good oral hygiene habits without the fuss, I highly recommend Listerine Smart Rinse for Kids. It’s pleasant, effective, and kid-approved!

Works great to remove denture adhesive from your mouth!
I have a very dry mouth due to damaged salivary glands caused by radiation treatments for cancer. The lack of saliva due to my damaged salivary glands has caused my tongue to become extremely sensitive. Because of this I can no longer tolerate using salsa, ketchup, pepper or anything remotely spicy, tart, vinegary or sour. The lack of saliva also causes me to get thrush frequently, which exacerbates everything even more. Unfortunately, also due to this dryness, I can’t use regular mint flavored toothpaste or mouthwash for adults as the mint flavor burns my mouth like crazy! Some of the children’s fruity mouthwashes have a very nasty flavor to them. Thankfully, the flavor of this mouthwash isn’t bad at all, actually rather pleasant. But the main reason I like this mouthwash is that it helps remove denture adhesive from my gums and the roof of my mouth. Denture adhesive is always SO DIFFICULT to remove!! Out of desperation I’ve tried many different kinds of dentures adhesives, trying to find one that would properly adhere my dentures but would also not prove to be so difficult to remove when it was time to take my dentures out! I had no idea that denture adhesive would be so difficult to remove from inside my mouth! It doesn’t stick to the dentures much once you remove the dentures from your mouth, but oh my gosh, trying to remove the adhesives from your gums and the roof of your mouth is ridiculously difficult! Nothing I tried worked! That is, until I found this mouthwash! If I swish this mouthwash around in my mouth for a few minutes and repeat it a couple of times I’m actually able to remove the denture adhesive without spending 30-45 minutes trying to scrape the adhesive off. Someone needs to invent some denture adhesive that sticks to the dentures but not so much to the inside of your mouth! It’s just awful! And I’ve never heard or read anything about anyone else having this problem but I can’t be the only one that experiences this! It’s just not possible that I’m the only one! Anyway, if you have trouble removing denture adhesive from inside your mouth after removing your dentures, give this mouthwash a try and hopefully it will work as well for you as it does for me.

Great kids’ mouthwash with a few minor drawbacks
Using the Listerine Total Care Kids Alcohol‑Free Mouthwash (Berry Splash) has generally been a good experience — it does what it’s supposed to: clean, freshen breath, and help protect teeth against cavities. 🔹 Effective oral rinse for kids It’s alcohol-free and includes fluoride and phosphates to help strengthen enamel and protect against cavities — a nice addition especially if dental hygiene routines are inconsistent. The “kids-approved” flavor helps make rinsing easier for children. 🔹 Fresh breath + whole-mouth clean The rinse seems to kill germs responsible for bad breath and reaches areas that brushing alone might miss, giving a fuller clean than just brushing. ✅ Pros: Alcohol-free + fluoride formula — safer and more gentle for kids Helps with cavity protection and enamel strength when used regularly Refreshes breath and cleans the mouth more thoroughly than brushing alone Flavor is kid-friendly — more likely to get kids to actually use it Simple to use and incorporates easily into regular oral care ❌ Cons: It’s designed for children (ages 6+) — may taste too sweet/aromatic for adults Requires consistent twice-daily use for cumulative benefit; occasional use won’t maintain enamel protection As with any mouthwash, possible sensitivity or mild taste after rinsing, especially if child is younger or not used to fluoride Overall: For a kid-friendly, alcohol-free mouthwash that supports dental health and helps maintain a clean mouth, this product performs well. It’s especially good if you want something gentle yet effective, and your child is able to rinse without swallowing. Would recommend — just keep in mind that benefits depend on regular use.

Flavour is important as that is what encourages kids to use the mouthwash. They like this product.
