I received this fleece neck covering, yesterday, and it worked great in the cold and windy weather conditions, this morning. It is approximately 9 inches “tall,” and so you can pull it up and over your mouth and nose, while it is still large enough to cover your neck at the same time. This covering is beneficial to me personally, because cold, winter air causes me to experience asthma, and having a covering over my mouth and nose is very helpful to me, in the cold wintertime. The fleece material is good quality and the neck covering is actually very lightweight and does not feel “bulky” when I am wearing it; it fits easily in your jacket pocket with your winter hat. Thank you very much for making such a great and useful product, because this works so much better for me than a scarf; I stopped wearing scarves, because they would always fall off my face or flap around in the windy conditions, and I am glad that I found your fleece neck covering, because I have been looking for this type of product, for years, and I am glad that I finally found your company via Amazon! This fleece neck covering stays in place, over my face, and it also works very well with (and partially underneath) the fleece hat that I already own. I am recommending this product to everyone who is active during the winter (not just those with asthma), since this neckwear will be very useful for skiers (downhill & cross-country) and snowboarders, too. THIS REVIEW IS MY OWN OPINION AND NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE COMPANY IN ANY WAY) Bought a couple of these and they are decent quality for the price point. I purchased the Budapest (?) print and it is very nice looking and the fleece inside is soft and comfortable. They are not as nice as Buffs brand but for the price I didn't expect that, plus I got a couple for my kids so I wasn't willing to spend 25-40$ on something worn around their necks (THESE ARE ABOUT 9" LONG). These aren't quite as versatile, they arent' long enough to use as a full Gaitor but perfect for neckwarmers, faux beanies or headbands. Just today we received 10" of snow and winds of 30mph with temps in the mid 20's and we were outside for about an hour shoveling and milling around with old man winter...they served their purpose and then some! I wore mine as a neck warmer and it kept out the cold and wind extremely well, so well in fact I had to pull it down after a bit because I was sweating! My eight year old loved his and it kept him dry and warm while he was sledding- he also told me he wore it at recess and that it worked great to keep the winds at bay while playing. He is in love with his...wears it around the house as a beanie constantly- I think it reminds him of what all the "parcore" athletes wear that he's seen in competitions:-) It is a bit large for my 4 yr old but we tucked it into the back of his jacket and it at least kept his neck covered from the wind. I will not hesitate to buy more patterns, and in fact will probably do so in the next week or two so we have extras. They are an excellent product for the price- would make a nice gift if you know someone that loves winter outdoors.

Color is more a raspberry/plum color than purple, black fleece inside. I wore this on a walk in 30 degree weather with a 25 mph wind and it kept my face warm. It’s easy to breathe through, soft and comfortable and it stayed up on my nose and face. I washed in a lingerie bag before wearing and it still looks new. Would definitely buy again, others in my house want one too.

I've bought & re-bought these over the last couple years... I live in the 2nd coldest state in the Country & we get -20°F or colder actual temps every winter, wind regularly in 30mph range....I also own a business & work outside every day...the worse the weather...the more we work.... I've learned regardless how you dress...if you keep your throat covered all the time, even when you're outside for just a couple minutes & it's not brutally cold....keep your throat covered & you'll never get a cold or sore throat... I literally work outside in a 24/7 business regardless of weather... I haven't gotten a sore throat in over a decade! Keep the cold weather & snow off your throat & you'll be golden. It's not too hot to leave on even if ya go inside to eat or driving. Easy to stuff in a pocket..

Good neck gaiter. Fleece on one side, nylon on other. It’s amazing how much heat you keep in using one of these with good hat, goves, socks complimenting the outfit. Most body heat is lost from your head and neck. If you want to stay warm wear this with a good wool or thick fleece hat.

All in all, this is not a bad product -- it is certainly warm, the pattern/color is good, and, the pricing was great compared to other/comparable products. However, my intent when purchasing the product was to use it while running in the winter, as, I already have a very nice/warm scarf that I wear with "non-athletic" clothes in the winter. For that purpose, I found that it didn't quite work as well as I had hoped, as, it is a bit large. I have difficulty trying to get it to stay up and cover my whole neck and/or any part of my chin, resorting to using clips in the back to try to make it a bit smaller and/or trying to clip the back to a ponytail, etc, but it would still often 'fall down'. Now, in all fairness, I looked up the 'average woman neck size' after seeing how large this seemed, and, my neck is apparently much smaller than average -- mine measured between 12 1/4 and 12 1/2 inches, and, the 'average' is apparently 13.5 inches. I also have a small head (I wear the smallest adult hat size made and/or can wear a large child size), so, that didn't help a lot in keeping it up either. In casual usage, this may also not be as much of a consideration, but, for running, with all that movement, I need something that can stay up a bit better. Other than my challenges with fit, I was happy with the overall quality and comfort of the product, so, YMMV-- but, if you do have smaller measurements in the neck/head, then, be aware that you may also experience some challenges in keeping this up securely.

I use this for running and walking my dog. Great warmth and soft material on the inside. It even packs down well for travel! It definitely gets warm - I’ve had to take it off on a couple of my runs
