Another question. Will it add a signigicant amout of range to the radio? If so ball oark figure?

It lowered the range on my test radios. Analysis on a commercial VNA showed terrible performance.

Rx is fine in any position. Tx should always be fully extended. On any antenna . Whats the point in buying anything other than a quarter wave just to fold it back in on itself? You gotta think - frequencies are literal lengths - if you can start at full wave it’ll be better all around.

Does this work with the radioddity gm30?

It may fit - but my experience is that the antenna was performing substantially worse than the stock antenna. I confirmed this with testing in my lab using commercial test equipment. I sent mine back.

Will it work with a samcom?

If you have an sma Female and on your radio it should fit not 100% sure
