As good as it gets
Very nice reel I have the 6000HG on a 9.6" St Croix Avid and feels perfect. Smoothness - A very different type of smoothness, but in a good way. Compared to my other Shimano, but then again they all have fully upgraded ceramic bearings. Have not taken her out yet, but looking fw in seeing how the drag system works. If you are reading this then you already know what you're looking at. For the average fisherman maybe it's a little too much, but if you're in the position to get one. Why Not

Definitely live up to expectation
I landed 8 yellowfin tuna in a night with this reel. It's silky smooth and powerful. It definitely lives up to expectation - the best spinning reel in the market.

be forewarned
Be forewarned that Shimano will discontinue producing parts for your expensive spinning reel shortly after a new model is introduced. I have the model that preceded this one and Shimano refused to work on the reel stating they don't have parts for it. I now have a useless 900 piece of junk.

Smooth and powerful, but no long-term support from Shimano
I've owned a 20000 SW, 8000 SW, and a couple of 5000 SWs. Stellas are smooth and powerful, and well designed. I've caught 200 lb tuna with them. However... when your reel reaches 5-7 years old and a part needs to be replaced, Shimano will not manufacture parts for it. This happened to me on one reel, and now the broken part is unavailable anywhere online. So, I will not be buying another Stella - it doesn't make financial sense. A reel this expensive should have long-term support from Shimano. Perhaps instead of redesigning them every few years, Shimano should just stick with a very good design and continue to manufacture parts for them longer. Then they would not lose customers like me.

Obwohl in Anleitung steht dass Spezialöl dabei ist und auf alle Shimano Videos Spezialöl ist dabei, ich habe keine bekommen.
