Counted-cross stitch patterns sometimes work up easier when the fabric has grid lines. Especially for the very popular “full coverage” pieces. I learned a new technique for creating my own gridded Aida & even weave fabrics: hi-viz 8# monofilament line. It’s fine enough to stitch over & slides out of the finished piece easily. Hi-viz line makes it easier to see the grid while stitching, too. Having my own spindle saves raiding the tackle boxes of unsuspecting anglers!

I was questioning weather my "20lb" line was really 20lb test because it spooled up so easily and just seemed smaller diameter to me more like 12-15lb line. Well I can say the 20 lb test is an understatement! I got my line snagged on a giant piece of drift wood, figured I could just wrap it around my sweatshirt give it a good pull and break it off... boy was I wrong. I ended up wrapping the the line around a small chunk of wood and using that to pull against the snag. This line absolutely would not give up the ghost and I ended up dragging a 5ft chunk of submerged timber back to shore and saving all my tackle. Take it for what it's worth but damn I wouldn't have expected 50lb line to even have handled that without snapping!

I wasn’t thinking when I bought this product due to the lack of knowledge I had for ratings on fishing rods, so I bought 100 lb line thinking I could use it in the super rocky/boulders in the river near my town thinking the line would break if it hits the boulders the quality of the line is there , the hi-fi green colour is the reason I bought it also so I definitely recommend you know what your fishing rod and reel can handle and then go from there, i probably could have reached out to the company and they would have given information but ill buy some line that is rated in the same hi-fi green colour reaction tackle is too notch , never had a problem with this product
