Hello! I am very excited to try this product. I will repost another review with my actual feelings on the effectiveness of this fertilizer for my orchid phalaenopsis once I have tried it but I wanted to warn you all about when you initially received the product and open it. Someone else posted on here this very thing and I completely forgot upon receiving product and going to open the lid. DONT FORGET THIS: Because this fertilizer is organic and build up gases inside the bottle when you open the top it will explode everywhere. I don't have a gardening shed and wasn't Outdoors. Actually I was in my kitchen. My morning coffee was just beside me and my cell phone LOL. Just as one other reviewer described I opened the top and it exploded everywhere! I'm not sure if it got in my coffee but I wasn't going to attempt drinking it. My whole entire kitchen smells like a horse barn. By the way a very familiar and good memory from when I was a child and Rider. Moving on...... make sure that before you pop open the top you have a substantial amount of paper towels or thick rag that you don't care about over the top and then pop up in the top and expect a fair amount of the liquid to come out. RECOMMENDATION: I highly recommend purchasing these bottles below at this link for gauging and watering. They help with the measuring but they also are great for avoiding the crown of your orchid. I used a child's medicine scoop to measure Out 3 ml of solution into a 600 ml (=16 oz) bottle that I got at the link that I will post below. This was easy and non messy once I got past the initial explosion. I hope this helps any of you when you initially open the bottle and I will be re-posting once I actually start using the fertilizer and hopefully it brings my phalaenopsis back to good health. Just got my espoma fertilizer today and used it on my orchids .. I am very excited to see what happens ! I love orchids . They are literally my fav flower but omg I have the worst luck keeping them alive and well! My apartment has no light in which I bought a small plant light and have been using it for about 3 months now . Bought new orchids about 3 weeks ago and they are still surviving 🤞🏻.. I noticed some flowering not blooming and buds falling off , so I purchased this product and due to great reviews I am hoping for a good turnout . I will give it some time and definitely post an update ! BTW make sure you read the reviews about opening the bottle because if you don’t your hands and counters will smell like POOP! If this works though I don’t care at all and this brand of plant products will be my go to forever!
