Has anyone had rust develop on the end of the dispenser (where the soap comes out)?

Yes -- mine also spits out rusty soap if the dispenser is not used frequently.

What material is the nozzle made of? Hard plastic or actual metal?

It is metal, stainless steel. Works well!

Does it completely empty the contents? The tube in some bottles stops a few millimeters from the bottom.

I have never let the bottle get to that stage. This bottle does not stay upright when you use one hand to dispense the soap. I used it for my dish soap, so it's not good for that.

What's the height of the dispenser, with sprout attached?
