Good product
This product seems to have the same quality as original equipment and works fine after installation. (95 Miata) I first installed a new lower clutch slave unit, which improved the clutch function somewhat, but did not solve the issue completely. Then I installed this clutch master cylinder, and now everything works as new. Fairly easy to install. I needed to install both slave and master. If you have clutch issues with your Miata, my research told me that most of the time it's the lower slave unit, so that's what I replaced first, but my experience in my particular case was that both were needed, especially the master cylinder. The lower clutch slave unit is above and behind the right front wheel. The master cylinder is on the driver side on the engine side of the firewall. I am not much of a mechanic, but was able to install both lower and upper. Google You Tube instructions, written instructions, and/or photos for some great help.

The right part, well priced, and works fine.
It's just fine. Don't know why there's an "easy to install" rating - it's no easier or harder than any other Miata NA clutch master cylinder.

Best value at time bought
Easy install on NA, no bleedin if done right

Works great, bench bleed it.
Fit as expected, be sure you bench bleed it before install, I had trouble getting the fluid moving the first go around.

Good quality, easy installation
My clutch pedal was slow to come back up. Replaced failed OEM clutch master cylinder on my 1994 Mazda Miata with Dorman CM119895 Clutch Master Cylinder. Easy installation, great results, problem fixed. Make sure you replace clutch salve cylinder as well as fluid at the same time you replace clutch master cylinder. It will save you headache in the future.

Id buy OEM if you can afford it--this one didnt work
This product did not work when installed; after spending four hours troubleshooting this I determined the depth of the pushrod receiver is too deep and even tho I adjusted my pedal pushrod to as long as possible, it doesnt activate the cylinder enough to bleed it; I even used a vacuum pump to bleed but could NOT get this unit to work; I thought about using a small metal spacer to essentially "extend" my pushrod but decided that it wasnt worth the effort and am returning the product.

My Miata clutch works again
It works, all I wanted. Takes a bit to bench bleed, be sure to do first.

Perfect for NA Miatas
Just what the car needed. Replaced slave cylinder also to have a perfectly clean system.

Leaked/defective
Finally got it installed- bench bled then bled the entire system. Pedal was firm and the clutch friction point was much better. I took it for a drive and 30min in, the friction point got closer to the floor and it was difficult to get into gear. At the garage they said the master cylinder seals were leaking and now I have to order a different master cylinder and there may be transmission damage. Dorman is normally a brand I would trust but now I have had a few components fail on me. I should have paid more for a quality brand because the cost of the component will pale in comparison to the repair bill
