American made quality
I looked long and hard for a decent winch to mount on a post in my back yard. There are many cheap imported winches on the market that are pretty dangerous to use new out of the box and especially after they're left outside in the elements. Dutton-Lainson has many different versions of several winches with all sorts of custom options to help users select the best winch for each application. They cost a little more than imports, but their parts are made from quality materials and the fit and finish is superior to the cheap knock-offs. Plus, if need help I can call the company and speak with an American for assistance. I'd certainly recommend this product to any friend and have confidence in using this product.

OEM Replacement for R&G PWC Lift
This is a replacement winch for my older R&G PWC lift. Circular wheel fits right on to it.

I wish it has a linger handle
I purchased this winch to replace a B 1200 Dutton Lainson winch that was thirty years old. It's very nice. I bought the 1202 because I felt the longer 13" handle would provide the same cranking leverage as the SHORE STATION wheel on our 800lb PWC lift. It doesn't. I think the handle should be at least 15". Still, it is a really nice, tough, easy to install product.
