I bought this for my husband's car - Subaru Outback. It was large enough to fit the generously sized seat, was easy to install, and looks good. It has offered great comfort for long drives and is especially cool in the summer months. We've noticed that for winter, you lose the benefit of the heated seats. So he uses it for longer driving times in the winter, and otherwise leaves it off. Good value for the money: has held up well and looks good. No breaking or slipping.

I got these because my back gets really hot sitting on my cars synthetic leather seats. The beads are really comfortable and allow some space between my back and the seat, and it definitely helps keep me cooler. Installation is very easy, take of your headrest, position the beads and re-insert the headrest through the beads and that's it, you may need to adjust to get the beads where you need them. The surface area isn't very big, it doesn't cover the entire seat really, but it still works well. The beads come with a few strings to secure them to the seat, but I never use them. The beads move around a bit, I just adjust the position when I first sit down and that works. Ive been using my first beads for a few months and they seem to be holding up well, and I just got a second set for the passenger side, as my wife likes the feel too. This is a good product, inexpensive, that I would recommend!

This isn't too expensive, nor is it too cheap. It does help minimize swamp azz in the hot weather, BUT you will have to go out of your way to affix it to a seat as it comes with one way too dinky and functionally useless "strap" string. I recommend using a roll of dollar store paracord and a toothpick to push it through the beads. Many beads are slightly cracked, and more will crack with use. After 4mos use on a black cloth seat you will have wood dust underneath, like sawdust, but not quite.

I bought these for my van when I was traveling and living out of it. I liked the look they gave my seats and they were not too hard to install but the beads are cheap wood and one of them broke in half. They feel good but it’s something you either love or hate. I was traveling with a friend and he flipped it over the seat cuz he didn’t want to sit on it anymore. I had no issues and it actually helped my back while driving 10 plus hours a day on the road. They do slip around and aren’t secured perfectly and more on the seat part that you sit on but it’s not that bad. I just wish the overall quality was better. You get what you pay for though cuz I bought these since they were cheaper than other places that were selling them. If you really want them then get them but don’t expect them to last forever as they will break probably if you aren’t careful and the beads themselves aren’t perfect and have imperfections in a lot of them. The wood is probably not real l it’s some cheap made stuff but it did help nonetheless.

My father had something like this on his car seat and I sought one out for myself and now no longer get a sweaty back and bottoms while sitting in my car seat waiting in traffic. I just bought my second of this product, the first lasting perhaps 2 or more years. It fell apart after I left someone my truck. ...not sure what they did to break it but they did. Great product, especially for the price. My friends do make fun of me for it, but I like to think they don't know what they are missing.

Update: April 2017. -the beaded seat cushion we bought July 2016 is still in great shape. We like it so much that we bought another. Unfortunately the one we just received was definitely not as well made. Beads were very loose and string ends hanging out all over. We got rhe same brand as before but it came from different vendor. In line with current practice, the vendor sent emails asking if everything was ok & to let them know if there was a problem. I responded that we were disappointed that it wasn't made as well as the first one and wanted to return it. The seller then gave me the number to Amazon's customer service & told that since Amazon fulfilled the order, we needed to contact them. Not surprising, Amazon's customer services was great & took care of everything. Meanwhile I keep getting emails from seller asking me to write a review for the product. Here it is! No longer recommended. July 2016: We have leather car seats and although they look great, they are very hot in the summer don’t seem to breathe. I’ve tried other types of car seat cushions and they weren’t comfortable or kept shifting underneath. The wood beaded seat is the best. We spent 12 hours in the car one day and 6 hours the next and I never got uncomfortable. We have a 2014 Hyundai Sonata and the beaded seat fit fine. We did not tie the strings that came with it, just put the posts for the headrest through the beads and it stays in place. I definitely recommend it.

Eine super Sache mit den Perlen, kein Schweiß am Rücken, angenehme Luftzirkulation. Aber leider gehen diese Teile immer so schnell kaputt, bei bisher allen Marken. Ich brauche immer alle 4-5 Monate ein neues, was eigentlich unnötig wäre, wenn sie stärkere Schnur verwenden würden.

Low quality

Keeps me cool easy to pu on seat a few split beads on opening which I thought might drop off but they haven’t deteriorated so no problems. I’m in my 4x4 everyday in & out and although you have to make sure your positioned on the beads squarely as you get in, there has been no breakages and it’s been 4 weeks so far. Great in this hot weather even with the air con
