Another - manga

I must say that this book exceeded my expectations. The back cover was good enough to have me intrigued, but after a few chapters in, I could not put it down [more or less, I technically stopped so i could enjoy some suspense]. Anyway, I would recommend this story even to people who are not normal fans of the horror genre. I myself normally do not like horror stories, either because they are too boring/predictable, or way too gory and over the top. This story is neither, but keeps the reader in beautiful suspense, leading the reader to chase after a few leads. I particularly enjoyed the use of suspense. It kept the feel of the story real and believable [as much as can be real as we suspend some disbelief] The characters are fun and likable, allowing for the reader to truly invest in their well being. If that isn't enough reason to pick up the book, we can also add that the artwork is absolutely amazing. Another should be on the shelf of anyone who loves manga!

I have to say this was more than a page turner for me. Out of the hundreds of, if not more, one of the the best stories I have ever read.Yes the is blood and horror. Yet it's not there just to be there and gross you out. This story has a mystery behind all this.I can safely say this book caught me completely off guard. Just not expecting a comic/Manga to have such a complex story.I would recommend this book and I will read the light novels which this book was based on. Plus, the sequel "Another s/O".Another book that is a very rough book to read is " Metamorphosis " by Shindo L. Warning this is high explicit, yet if you read the story of this young girl named Saki I want you to remember this gets very dark and Emotional. Read up on first. This book broke my heart for a month. I felt so sorry for the character, yet I know this type of story does happen in real life.This book is very much a cautionary tale.

I'm so excited to read this book, bought it because of the size! I wanted this because I couldn't find it in stores until I found out it's in novel and walked past it like 10 times in a row. I wanted the manga mostly. Came in very good condition. Very minor/micro scratches. Not much of a big deal that would make me upset. They're so little, I could hardly care. Generally, every book worsens when you use it under your care. Exactly what I expected from a manga. Updating my review after I'm done reading. 👍

Personally the anime is wayyyyyy better, but I like the concept of owning a physicals copy. so 4/5

This review is for the Kindle version of the Manga. I'll say it is a great product. The pages are very clear, sharp and no distortion whatsoever when enlarging the pages. The reason I use a Kindle is because I have vision problems and this manga is beautifully reproduced on its digital version. Now about the story I'll say it is very nice, somewhat different than the anime version (The anime is more scary!). In some pages you need to be careful reading because you may get lost in the timeline, but not a real problem. I am looking forward to get the paperback issue just to have it too. The anime is great, buy it if you can. The last book Episode S0 is very good and includes the manga prequel to this one ( I got the hardcover and it is awesome).It will be great if they made this a full colored version because the blood and gore will look amazing.

Even after seeing the anime, I wasn't prepared for this masterpiece. Not only did it tell the story the anime made me fall in love with, but it had so many extra details the anime left out, really helping flesh out the characters more. I'm certain th original novel ha even more of this, but it I still great to get this extra bits of information.Apart from the story, the art style of this manga is, quite simply put, gorgeous. It really drew me into th story even more, making me feel a bit more of the impending sense of dread that the students of Class 3-3 felt as the story moved forward.In the end, with the combination of the fantastic story, gorgeous art style, and the cheap price, I would wholeheartedly recommend this manga to any lover of psychological thrillers, psychological horror, or mystery stories.
