Great book, lots of information presented in a really easy to understand way.

Decent enough. Class requirement. I think I will keep it though and not sell it back. Some are worth keeping.

This just-updated history of the women's movement is an excellent introduction to the field. The book surveys the 150-year history of the movement and provides lots of good-looking graphs and tables of the current situation. I use this book in my 2000-level course on race, gender and politics and find it very readable for my mostly 1st- and 2nd-year students. The students like the book as well. If you want a well-organized, readable, and current survey of the movement and the current status of women in America, I wholly recommend this book.

The product itself came in great condition and at a great price, which I'm very grateful for as a college student! I highly recommend the seller! The structure of the textbook: organized with helpful graphics and charts, but there is no glossary or even bolding of important terms. For me, a glossary is a huge priority in a textbook, hence the lost star. The contents of the textbook: just a normal polisci book with no especially compelling insights. Also outdated (from 2012 so 6 years ago at the time of review), so ignores a ton of intersectionality between the LGBTQ+ and women's rights movements.

I dont want textbooks to tell me what to believe. I want judgement-free data. I know it is increasingly difficult to come across textbooks without a leftist slant, but that doesnt make it any less disappointing when I have to use one.
