Did not work. Thought it was my cable, bought a new one, still didn't work. Bought a new laptop with built in ethernet port and the cable DID work so it had to be the adapter. Unfortunately my return window was 2 days ago before me and my tech guy realized it. Going into recycling bin... Serve no other purpose.

I bought these with ZERO expectations as they are sub 10 bucks and an easy return if need be. Well all I can say is they work flawlessly out of the package. I mean time will tell but for less than 10 bucks buy again if needed. See photos. I am getting 1080p video but I am unable to verify with the current setup if the audio is multi channel. Put the TX at the source and for me it is a laptop and put the RX at the monitor and go. it is truly plug and play and connect ethernet cable between them and like I said. GO!!! From the pictures I am using a custom ethernet cable I built at 150 ish feet and note the coil cable. Thats 150 ft with 130 in a coil that acts like an inductor so I am very impressed with the quality of the video.

I got this product because I wanted to split the display from my laptop to two screens (65" in). I ordered a new cable because I wanted to get the best output possible. When I connected it, it did not work. I figured it may be the cable and I switched it to another one. It still did not work. I started to think maybe my laptop did not recognize the device so I connected it to a PC desktop. It still did not work! I even tried to connect it with different cables to an iMac Pro and it did not work. I tried other displays, (monitor, TV, etc.) and it still did not work! The converter came in a little bag and when I opened them, they looked Ok. It did not seem they were damaged at all. They just never worked. Too bad!

Este adaptador es muy bueno soluciona problemas con cables prefabricados, lo eh utilizado y funcionan al 100 en DVR para camaras

Desventajas no lo sé, por el precio no se le puede pedir más

They work but not well the image would cut out and go black then come back I ended up not use it them

I have 2 sets, 1st set has been used to connect my camera system to my TV for well over a year. Just added a set behind a hdmi splitter to run my outdoor TV. Using Cat 5 and the longest run is probably 35-40 feet of wire behind a powered splitter to a powered hdmi switch. Theses are not intended to be stand alone ethernet to hdmi adapters. They have to be used as a set, tx(transmit) at source rx(recieve) at TV. Some reviews sound like people have the wrong idea how they work.

Bueno tarde en hacerlo funcionar, pero por qué el mismo empaque no ayuda en nada en cómo usarlo, si funciona, la máxima distancia que ocupe fue de 15 mts con un cat 5e, lo ponche tipo B, cruzado NO Funciona, todo tiene que estar bien sujeto o tienes perdidas!
